Stylish Nails — Local services in Middletown Township

I had my eye lash extensions done here for a long time. The lash lady does a great job. I took them off for a break . I came back to get them done on 6/24. I had to go back to have her look at my right eye because it was irritated, by my nature eye lashes sticking up . I reached out 6/25 viva instagram telling them that my right eye is burning and is red . She had told me that happens to her too. I said ok and that if anything I’d reach back out of come in. Well by 6/25 at 3:45-4:45PM I was in the salon getting them removed, my eye is really red and has white puss coming out of it . I was told that she can’t do a refund of the $95 I paid. For an issue with eye lash extensions . Believe me I did not want to take them off they looked amazing . But at this point it was out of my control. I was very uncomfortable. The salon could have offerer better customer service, by maybe doing my nails or doing pedicure’s to make up for not refunding but I was not offered ANYTHING! I can’t remember the name of the woman who did my nails but I went here once to get my nails done and the lady who did my nails was great. In most of the other salons, I can’t understand what the employees are saying and they can’t understand what I’m saying either and it’s frustrating. I’m so used to having my nails done by people who have no interest in speaking to me and spend the whole time with headphones on. I could understand what this woman was saying and we had actual conversations and it was enjoyable. She was really nice and entertaining too. She did my nails so well. They were for my 16th birthday and I genuinely really loved how they looked. There was also complementary soda which I enjoyed and on top of all of this, the prices were surprisingly low for such good service and a good job. They booked me immediately which was nice too. My only complaint would be that when she was filing my nails, the filer cut my skin. This used to be my favorite nail salon!! I started going to Angelina’s in Holmdel for a while because they’re on point with designs, but decided to go back to stylish. When I just got a fill it was nearly $60 (I did get chrome, which cost $10) however the fill is $40. After paying I asked for the pricing breakdown as it didn’t add up in my head and then they told me because they cut back some of my nail in my fill they charge an extra $3, which is not only absurd but that cost STILL doesn’t add up to what they charged me. When they were trying to show me the pricing on their menu they could not show me how it added up. It’s like the guy just made up a price since again, the cost could not be explained.
