Club Arriba — Restaurant in Midland

This club cares more about people wearing sport clothes than making money, lol, instead of asking for the ID all the minors that get in there and drink alcohol all night long. Now at days you don’t even have dress codes at any type of work, but guess what, you have dress code for mens in a club. But is funny to know that any woman can get in there half naked and nothing happens, but a guy with a different culture that is not Mexican wears sport clothes because that is how he express himself and he gets kicked out in front of everyone. So disappointed of you Club Arriba. You need to understand that not everyone likes to dress like they are going to EL RANCHO to ride horses, there are different cultures in this town now. Is worst to see a 17 years old drinking alcohol because they did not get ID, or a woman showing their bobs and their bottoms, than a guy who feels awesome dressed in sport clothes. Went to go see a famous band that is actually one of our best friends. Charged 80 dollars for me and my wife then was told we couldn't sit there because those were reserved seat for 50 $ more dollars. We moved to the bar like we were told then another employee says we can't sit there either. so you pay 80 dollars just to stand up? We will never go back again. I was going to say something to the singer but It was not his fault. I know if I would of told him he would a made a big deal about it like he did one time at another place we were at. ...

Great place to dance. Only open Friday and Saturday. Entrance is $10 per person on Saturday. Friday price is higher and depends on the band they are having that Friday. Everyone dances and dresses at their own style. Not sure if there is a dress code. There was a time they didn’t allow Jean shorts on women. Music is great depending on the DJ. Live music on Fridays.
