The stars is not reflection of one thing but several. It could be higher and will probably go up but as of right now, I’m fairly disappointed. I found a great deal on the vehicle that meets all my needs. As a disabled veteran, and it was time for me to get a vehicle that would allow me to drive comfortably and get in and out with out a lot of difficulty. I contacted the dealership and talked to Tony Davis. From the start he had provided excellent service. I’m in Bulverde Texas, and he Sent videos on the walk around of the vehicle and interior letting me know of the minor cosmetic concerns and made me feel good about the prospect of purchasing a 2020 Highlander. I set up an a time to meet in town on Oct 11 and he was very communicative and helpful. He picked me up from the rental car company with my vehicle I was interested in purchasing and I was able to test drive it back to the deals hip to sign paperwork. I drove more than 300 miles to make this happen. And was excited and performed a walk around of the vehicle once I arrived at the dealership. I was in and out in less than 30 minutes. No issues up this point, the issues came in the form of unexpected surprises. My car made it home but started to give me issues that jeopardized my safety with in 24 hours. The breaking system started to fail in addition to multiple other issues. Oct 12
I contacted the dealership and the sales man Tony Davis, let me know they wanted me to take my vehicle to a Toyota dealership. So I had the vehicle towed on Monday morning, oct 14. Later that evening I received an update there was a fuel leak and it was covered under warranty, and there other issues that should have been caught during the vehicle inspection at the dealership as well. It’s oct 15 and I’m waiting I be contacted by the dealership. I’m truly grateful that something hadn’t happened to me while I was driving this vehicle. Breaking system, fuel leak, serpentine belt and pullies, wheel hub bearing and a key fob issue, while there was a recall on the key fob and fuel pump that would avoided half of these issues. Hoping these issues will get resolved and I will Update this post as things move along. I’m sure we can get my vehicle back on the road safely, move these stars up to five and move past this situation
Nov 1 I spent the last two weeks navigating communications between the Toyota dealership I took my vehicle to Sewell. All the mechanical issues were addressed. But not the other issues. Read moreSo I was waiting till I got my car back from my personal mechanic to leave this review a month or So ago I dropped my car off for a oil change and I had mentioned if they can top off the fluids because I have a low coolant level light that comes and goes she said yes they top off all fluids.
As my car is in there they send a vehicle report video mentioning things like brakes suspensions and such we’re good on the vehicle.
Day of pick up not even 5-10 minutes down the road low coolant level light came back on I contacted the service advisor and notified her she says to take it back and they will top it off sooo I say ok may I get the vehicle check to clear the light she said well I suggest a diagnostic for the coolant I said ok how much she gave me a price I agreed a couple days go by and I call and check up and the tech said I was 8 days out I said 8 days is to long he transferred me to the service advisor and she said yes like I mentioned a couple days I said well a couple days is 2 not over a week I asked can they just do the vehicle check. And top off the coolant she said yes ok again I get another video report mentioning they topped off the coolant day of pick up not even 10 minutes later low coolant level light came back on sooo I schedule with my personal mechanic and I got the car back last week they mentioned the coolant was low and they had to top it off it’s a been over a week and my light has not came back on BMW claims they topped it off which they in fact did not since my mechanic topped it off and the light has not been back on it’s like they want you to take it in pay extra money for a diagnostic!
Another thing I would like to mention by no means was my car perfect but my paint was in great condition I. Always hand wash my vehicles well they offer or do a courtesy wash if you can please deny it and protect your paint my I got my car back full of brush or rag scratches through out the whole vehicle all doors hood trunk I may have had a few before but once I picked it up there’s just clusters and large sections of light brush scratches now I have to pay 1400 to get a paint correction. Read moreI own a 2021 x3 and just needed something a little bigger so worked with another dealer on upgrading to the new X3 and they worked it all out. I told them I would need the car delivered though because I wouldn’t be able to make it. They said no problem. So we got it all worked out and then said they couldn’t deliver it. I figured it wasn’t meant to be. But then I knew what I could afford and exactly what I wanted. So I planned a trip for the day to Sewell BMW with no intention of getting one. Just seeing what they had. Vaneza Avila reached out to me a couple days before and then followed up a couple times. As we were pulling into town she texted and asked how she could help. I said, well we are in town and told her exactly what I was looking for. She said, I’ll be ready for you! We got there and she had a car waiting that was beautiful. We drove it and I loved it, but wasn’t in love with the color and still thought it was a little small. So she said we should just drive the X5 and I said I didn’t think we could work it out. But we drive it anyway. Of course I fell in love with it. They knew my numbers and told them I wasn’t going back and forth on it. If it worked I’d be so excited. If not I’d hold out for the X3 I liked. Well we got pretty dang close and decided for the x5 to go for it. It wasn’t hassling it wasn’t pressure. Just business. We got it worked out, all my stuff switched over. She went and filled it with gas herself. Brought my husband a tea back and a bouquet of beautiful flowers. Then after they pulled it in and cleaned it all up. I spent an hour with a car genius, Maria, I believe. She was amazing too. And then they all got together and put a big bow on it and popped confetti!!! It made me feel so special and excited. I LOVE my new car and will be a swell, specially Vaneza customer forever. I’ve already told multiple friends to call her. She was patient and sweet and so easy to deal with and talk to. She followed up twice with me already! Go see her, you won’t regret it!!!
