Was a nightmare working with penske. Apart from the many hidden charges and unaccounted for miles they charged me for, they kept my security deposit for over 60 days instaed od 30 days. Nobody in the office seemed to know who had my security deposit or when i was gonna receive it. I was given many times to expect my money which was a lie. They kept telling me corporate handles it and they cannot do anything about it. I dropped the truck on july 29 and i dont have my security deposit as a type. Penske Gahanna fix my big rig trackor in one day, my truck had exposed wires from the wire harness, going to transmission to motor to def system, all wires going to computer. I had gone to several Penske garages , San Diego Penske never really got into a deep dive to find the source of the problem, salt lake City Utah Penske , were the first ones to find part of the problem, but didn't check for more exposed wires from the wire harness, which led to malfunctioning in Ohio, but so far no problems , great job Penske of Gahanna Ohio 👏, the service department personal were helpful and courteous, thank you so much from legacy transportation systems...

To say this was a rip off would be nice. Picking up the truck, driving to 3 storage units in northern Columbus, parking at my house in Westerville, and driving back to drop off the truck would total all of 61 miles. I was charged for 398 miles because the rental agent Z.Dermer did not write down neither the correct miles nor the proper fuel amount; an overcharge of $101.10 when looking at the numbers. And even the agent who closed my contract, G.Helms, wrote down the wrong fuel amount. A hard lesson but one that will stick with me - never rent nor refer anyone to the location ever again.
