Kiss My Axe — Local services in Milford

This place was SO much fun! We reserved a slot online, and on the day of decided to change to a bit earlier. I called and got a call back from the owner who told me to just text him the details and he would make sure it was fixed. Customer service was excellent, the guys were super cool and helpful, and even let us stay a little longer than an hour because there was no wait. The boards are changeable which is different than most places that just have a regular target (you can play games on this one!) And they have ninja stars to throw! I've been axe throwing before... but never like this. The projector lanes were a blast! Tons of different games, there was never a dull moment. We didn't even get to play everything. The staff was extremely friendly! From the moment we walked in, to showing us the basics and even giving us multiple tips for more accurate throws. Bill (the axe-pert) even had us play around with different axes to make sure we got the hang of it. And then there was the other stuff... ninja stars, a shovel, and even batarangs! Will definitely be coming...

Made reservations for today at 11:00. Arrived appropriately 10:58 - door locked. Finally at 11:17, I tried the door once more - still locked.

What I didn’t know was there was an emergency that stalled opening. Nothing in other reviews mentioned anything negative. Obviously, this was a one off and the business has since offered amends.

I’m sure this is a well run establishment that deserved better than a hasty comment. I will be sure to give “Kiss My Axe” another...
