Shout out to Trombleyâs Gardens, Milford !!
Iâm thrilled to know there are So many ânewâ gardeners this year but oh wow they went out shopping early for annuals and just about wiped out garden centers so they were looking decimated by last weekend. I feared my containers were going to go unplanted this year đ˘
A neighbor suggested Trombleyâs and I am so glad we tried them. They told me they had a lot less than they usually do for Memorial Day Weekend because so many have taken to gardening, but they still had (have) an ample selection and all their stock looks great! I bought & planted 30 + 6-packs and 4â annuals yesterday, filling 7 very large containers with Thrillers, Fillers and Spillers! Yes, in the rain!
Went back for a few more flats today, and had some great ice cream while we were there, for lunch đ¤
Helpful, friendly staff to boot! Definitely a new-forever...

The adjacent ice cream stand is a great place to grab a yummy ice cream cone on a spring or summer day. On weekends, the donuts they make are to die for! The staff are always friendly, and the locally-sourced products from small businesses are always good. The only minor complaint I have is that the mint chocolate chip ice cream tastes slightly off-- maybe they make it with spearmint extract instead of peppermint extract. It's not bad, just different. And they do have plenty of other flavors to...
Read moreI stopped by today with my two boys for the corn maze. $5.00 a person is very reasonable. The corn maze was fun and not too challenging, we did however have to walk around the cornfield to ensure there truly was an exit, we then entered through the exit and exited through the entrance..... so we completed it? Inside the maze they had four wooden cutouts of animals which are part of the challenge, they are hidden pretty well but my kids were able to find them. Inside they had a nice selection of fruits, meats, drinks etc. A little pricey though, for a coffee, chocolate and strawberry milk cost over $10.00.... Overall a nice trip, we'll go...
