I took my vehicle for routine maintenance: oil change and tire rotation. When I left, I noticed while still in Millstadt, the car was vibrating. Since it was shortly before 5pm (closing time), I called and spoke to George. The conversation was extremely odd and I was repeatedly told they didn't do anything to my vehicle to cause what I was experiencing. "Simple oil change and tire rotation is all we did". Duh...stupid chic (not stated, but definitely how I felt). After irrelevant questions being asked such as, how long since I got new tires and how many miles I have driven on the tires, George suggested I suddenly had a bad tire. As in, it wasn't bad before I dropped off my vehicle, but it probably is now for no reason tied to my service at his shop. He told me to go to the place I purchased my tires and ask them to balance them. Ok - wouldn't they have just balanced them when they just rotated my tires? I was beyond aggravated with the conversation and being spoken to as if I was a total idiot so I obliged and went straight to where I purchased my tires. The cause....they only hand tightened the left rear tires and it was loose to the point where I actually lost a lug screw in my commute from Millstadt to Waterloo. Driving 60+ MPH from Millstadt to Waterloo with a tire loose could do some serious damage to the vehicle and myself. This is not the first time, previously, my daughter's car had returned from service with the low oil light on. They didn't fill the oil and my intelligence was again insulted by George's line of questioning. Such as: How much oil does the vehicle hold? How much oil did your brother put in the vehicle after it was serviced? Are you SURE there are no oil spots on the ground? If you want to pick up your vehicle and have issues and call on them to make it right, this is NOT the place for you! If you want to instead be spoken to like you, as the customer, are a complete idiot in the situation and don't expect them to take responsibility, this is absolutely your...
Read moreI don’t usually leave reviews, but this shop came highly recommended by a good friend who’s very experienced with automotive work and regularly uses them for machine services. For that reason, I feel it’s important to share my experience so the shop can improve.
After waiting about a week and a half for my truck to be evaluated, I called on 10/10/25 for an update and was surprised to learn that half of the work — head gaskets — had already been completed. I had never received a detailed estimate or given authorization to proceed with any work beforehand. That’s issue #1.
When I picked up my truck on the 13th, I drove it to work the following day only to have my driver-side rear brakes fail while driving on Highway 270! I immediately returned the truck to the shop, where I was told the issue was caused by a technician zip-tying the brake line. The zip tie had broken, allowing the line to rub against the tire which punctured it. That’s issue #2.
After waiting a couple of hours for a replacement part from another shop, they repaired the problem. However, I lost an entire day of work and made an hour-long round trip to resolve something that should not have occurred in the first place.
While I appreciate that the issue was ultimately fixed, a discount or coupon offer (versus having to ask for it) instead of an apology would have gone a long way, especially after having over $4,500 worth of work done on the...
Read moreI have a 2014 Ram 2500 that I took in for alignment. Alignment was done same day. About a week later I noticed my steering off a bit. I drive a lot so I looked under the truck to see what was going on and found the primary steering linkage between the pitman arm and the knuckle was completely loose. This is a CRITICAL piece to the steering. If this had came completely off, I'd have probably died because most of my commute is interstate. I called the manager and they repaired the same day but said that it's possible it just 'backed off'. There's no possible way this piece is supposed to be able to 'back off'. I don't normally leave bad reviews. I'm highly against it actually. I understand things happen. But when you make a mistake, own it. I will not be taking any business here. EVER. To miss this during an alignment is bad enough, but then to not own the mistake and treat me like an idiot is salt on the wound. 100% would NOT...
