Read moreBack in October a sweet little cat found her way to my home--No one claimed her so we did....we named her Sweetpea and we kept her as safe as we could-- but being so tiny... This cold weather was very concerning (even though she had an insulated little house).
She began to decline so I brought her to Dr. Fyfe & Jeff & they confirmed she was sick beyond help. So instead of letting her suffer, we lovingly sent her to the Rainbow Bridge.
This was the most loving decision that could've been made for this tiny, little beautiful warrior... it is clear that she has endured much pain in her life... but she was still the most affectionate and trusting little girl in the world.
I could not allow her to suffer in the cold alone outside. She deserved a dignified passing, where she would at least be surrounded by people that cared for her where she was warm and safe... Thank you Dr. Fyfe, Jeff, & staff... for your love, compassion, & support.
All Fur Paws Animal Hospital in Millstone Twp. (Near the Jackson outlets) is an absolutely wonderful vet hospital... All of my Fur babies go to them...Their kindness, professionalism, care & love of all God's creatures is apparent in all they do each day. It begins with Dr. Fyfe & Jeff... and extends to their staff of talented veterinarians, technicians & their staff.
Rest easy, Sweetpea.... until...

The surgeon removed the tumor, and wrapped the leg up in a cast. We came back a week later for the post op, and the vet TECH pulled us in the back to show us our dogs leg all black and blue and swollen. She said the cast must of gotten wet and caused the paw to swell. She cleaned my dog off and wrapped it back up and told us to come back a week later. From the severity of the leg we saw that day, we grew a concern that something was not right. We took her to North Star the next day, to be told that our dog has had no circulation to her paw for days now. They were shocked the vet who performed this surgery saw the leg and didn’t take immediate action or be concerned about the blood flow. We had to amputate our dogs leg due to this issue. Very unprofessional how the vet who did the surgery did not come back to the room and inform us, nor talk to us about the results of the surgery. The vet tech was the one who showed us and talked to us. Would not suggest bringing your dog here after...
