Sri Krishna Balaram Goshala (Cow sanctuary) — Local services in Milpitas

Very serene place to farm cows and bulls. They have bulls and cows exported from India. The hill top farm is a well maintained. Volunteers go in to help with cleaning the cow shed, bathing the cows and giving a skin rub to the cows and bulls. Currently no feeding the animals, you can go in to volunteer depending on the needs. The cows are let into the hills for grazing. It’s all done organically. We took our toddler for petting and getting familiar to being around cows....

I had an amazing experience visiting and spending time with the cows. The kids had a great time as well, enjoying the hands-on experience of feeding and petting them. The staff was incredibly friendly, offering detailed information and ensuring that every visitor had a memorable time.

At the time of this writing, there is nothing much here, except a few cows. These are being reared, and visitors are allowed to feed them at specific times. The items that are allowed are listed in the website. The big plus is the view from here. Walk to the edge of the place, which is overlooking the bay area. wow. what a view.
