I called to book this company about a week in advance for faculty and staff. On the day of, I had to reach out to them to find out if they were actually coming. There was no communication from them whatsoever other then me contacting them. When I called an hour before they were due to arrive, I was told they had mechanical issues, “truck was over heating.” As in where I do understand things come up, why not call and let me know? When I explained I had people hungry and ready to eat and they only had an hour for lunch, I was told someone was working on the truck and that they were going to be about 30 minutes late. When I called back 10 to 15 minutes later, I was told that the mechanic couldn’t fix the truck. The owner did not initiate communication with me at no time! I was the one calling her!! At no time was there an apology! At no time did the owner/ company say I’ll come out another day! Just nothing. Although this was totally out of my control, I was so embarrassed because I had to explain to an entire school and other outside guess, I was unable to feed them by ways of the Taco Truck. I then had to find means for another group of people to eat on the spot. (Pizza always works 😏)

To the owner, As in where I do understand things happen, you could have communicated it to me sooner, so that I could have made arrangements for my people to eat. In addition, have a backup plan, just in case this happens again! Finally, how about an apology and at least offer to come out on another day. As in where you may not care, but you lost my business for life and I can never recommend you to another group...
