El Don Mexican Restaurant — Restaurant in Georgia

I enjoyed the food a lot!! I went with 2 of my other friends we are teenagers. We got there they gave us drinks and chips/salsa and left we chatted figured out what we wanted to order but They never came back and never asked us if we were ready to order so, we asked to order and asked for a appetizer additionally, they left to get the appetizer and brought it to us and left before we could order! We asked an additional 4 times to order ( to different workers) and got the response “ok one minute” and they left and didn’t come back. My friends parents who were at the restaurant too had already gotten served and almost finished. We let them know our situation and they asked the server to take our orders it wasn’t until then we were finally helped. Took an hour to get them to take our order and we asked 4 times within all that. We got our food quickly and everything was good and then it was about 7ish and it got busy they seemed to try to be rushing us out, opposed to their behavior earlier. We asked for the check three times and waited about 20 mins and didn’t get helped until my friends parents came over. Although we are teenagers we came in with money to spend on a good meal and should be treated with the same respect as a paying adult. Dissatisfied with our service. Watched a lot of families get quick service we’ll we didn’t get any. We did tip well...

I don’t go to Mexican restaurants a lot in the US. But I’ve had my share in the past, and I know the difference between a good one a decent one and a fantastic one. At least in my opinion.

We were on our way to North Georgia got hungry stop by this place. Really love the atmosphere really cool hand-painted artwork inside, huge wide open space, lots of seating bar on the left I would say 10-15 chairs.

There’s also small patio deck for outside seating that’s what got our attention. We sat outside, beautiful day.

The menu was very robust, lots of good looking things on the menu everything you would expect from a Mexican restaurant.

We had the guacamole dip, I had the brisket tacos and partner steak tacos. Everything was delicious. The food came out quickly and had lots of flavor. The meats were marinated perfectly, delicious taste, may be homemade here. Loved the guacamole. Oh my gosh so good. That was definitely made fresh. And the free salsa and chips, I love their salsa style. It’s not too hot. Has a lot of flavor natural tomato flavors with cilantro and onion.

The service here was awesome. always attentive, our glasses were never empty. Delicious margaritas, by the way.

Not a good place to go for a quick lunch on a workday. I went in with 3 co-workers around 12:45. The place wasn't especially busy, but you'd never know it by the wait time. We were seated right away, but after sitting for about 10 min, we had to ask if we'd be served. Someone finally came over and took our order, and we asked for the checks then so we could leave quickly after we ate, but we never saw that server again. We waited and waited for our food. Someone asked if we were alright, and we said we needed our food right away and the check. We were told it would be another 5 to 10 min. When the food finally arrived, we asked that it all be put into to-go containers because we were already late and asked again for our checks. We had plenty of time to sort out our food and have a few nibbles while it took at least another 10 min to get the checks. At this point, one person graciously volunteered to stay behind and settle the checks so we could return to work. I understand that establishments get overwhelmed and/or understaffed, but offer an apology. None of was offered here. While the food (albeit half cold when got to eat it) was good, it was not exceptional so there's no reason for a...
