Bde Maka Ska South Shore Parking — Local services in Minneapolis

I love Bde Maka Ska. Unfortunately, there were a lot of people smoking and loitering along the path making it difficult to feel comfortable exercising. Someone was blocking the stair entrance to a beach by lying on the stairs smoking weed. It's fine, but not really there in that way. A few blocks off the lake I had to call 911 due to two people who stole a BMW. I've been running there for about 20 years and it's been deteriorating a bit. The walking paths need some repair and the area doesn't feel as safe as it used to feel. I recommend it but with caution. I've experienced some harassment while running but not as badly as other areas.

Clean. Pay parking lot. Great spot to paddle board from. Been here a few times to SUP on Bde Maka Ska in Minneapolis.
