William Berry Park — Attraction in Minneapolis

Let me first start by saying this is a GREAT park for families... However, I want to warn visitors that this area (along with Lake Calhoun) is a MAJOR CAR THEFT target. My wife was at the park yesterday afternoon around 2pm, enjoying the beautiful spring day with our small children and wouldn't you know someone broke into our vehicle WHILE SHE WAS WATCHING! In broad daylight!? They smashed our passenger side window and stole belongings including a purse that was tucked and concealed on the floor... Then drove off. Mind you, our vehicle was the only vehicle parked on the street directly next to the park. Definitely use caution and don't leave any valuables in your vehicle.
