ALDI — Local services in Minnetonka

I come here very frequently for all of my grocery needs. Having recently moved in the area, I enjoy that there's an Aldi near me. It's clean, bright, airy, and has a great selection of anything I need. The prices are extremely low, and the quality of everything is always wonderful. My favorite is the rare finds from seasonal items, from ground lamb, to bison, to Wagyu, you never know what you're going to find. It's fun coming here and the staff works very hard and keeping everything stocked, clean, and organized. The only issue I find however is the staff doesn't always do a great job of facing the food products. I tend to find empty boxes because customers took all the items and if I want one of it, I have to awkwardly pull the box off the shelf just to get to the products behind it. This is especially true with things in the fridge and freezer doors around the parameter of the store. I'll definitely keep coming...

Aldi Minnetonka is the only Aldi store I have ever shopped at, but if the other stores are as helpful & friendly as the Minnetonka location, I'd give them 4 stars. The items are easy to find and a good selection. And It's quick...in and out and home! 3/30/22....FYI Aldi Minnetonka is undergoing a remodel currently. Although I have appreciated the good selection of items, friendliness and how quickly you can swing in and out to do your grocery shopping, they have no frozen foods/freezer items available currently. This is an inconvenience because I will need to find these items elsewhere, however, the new Aldi off of Hwy7 near Knollwood is fully stocked with these items and only a few miles away as well. The other refrigerated items and dry goods are available, but some have been moved temporarily to existing shelves during the remodel. I hope this...

I really like Aldi stores and have always had great experiences. Until today. The checkout guy was very loudly verbally abusive, loud enough for other shoppers to turn around to look what was going on. He was upset apparently because I wasn't removing items from my shopping bag fast enough. He virtually screamed at me to empty my bag. It is important to note that no one was behind me in line at this point. This man has a temper and I'm sure this will not be the last time he takes out his anger at customers. Oh, and I'm 73 years old and suffering from severe arthritis so it would under any circumstances be difficult for me to go any faster than I did. This man should not be in a position where he interacts with the public. I think he could potentially be dangerous. So...
