As a longtime supporter of Creo I am deeply saddened to see just how far they have fallen. This "was" once a great Christian studio that supported their kids. This studio has grown too big and its leadership has lost sight of what is important. Leadership changes in how the studio is run is not communicated to families which leads to run around and great amounts of confusion. As a studio that claims to be Christian they schedule mandatory programming for Wednesday nights during confirmation hours for confirmation aged students. When it comes to handling issues about mental health, eating disorders, or other behavioral or medical concerns the staff would rather keep things swept under the rug then appropriately deal with the issues. "Favorite" students that have such issues are allowed to waltz back into the studio after months of being gone and take back roles that other students were filling in for, and those students that were actually working hard get dismissed and forgotten about.
Students who might be having problems with substance abuse the staff chooses not to inform parents about such information, but instead ban the student that is reporting the substance abuse. This sends the message that protecting the image of Creo is more important than the welfare of its students.
I am posting this because I can no longer sit back and watch another family duped by the false image that this studio presents. I hope that this post serves to warn future parents that just because Creo calls itself a Christian studio it is in fact far from any Christian values in the way it is run, and the way it treats its kids...
Read moreThank You Creo for having a Vision and Passion for Dance. You have turned my Princess into an Angle. She has learned to express her love and passion through one of the greatest form of Art. But she is not the only one that has learned about this Art. You get Parents involved with them. I have learned how to stand properly in the first Position and whole lot more. You create opportunities for us parents to live life with them not just drive them around. You show love and patience towards us also, even when we are being unreasonable.
Thus, I guess what I am saying is there are no words I can write or say that can express what you and your child will experience when they come to Creo Arts & Conservatory. Five Star is not enough recognition for this group. Their dedication to their art will amaze you. Their Passion for and love for your kids and you will WOW you. So come and Join our family because they love us and our kids as if we are their family. (FYI this is my short version...
   Read moreOur family LOVES Creo!
We have been involved with Creo for nearly 20 years. Throughout this time we have had the opportunity to see how hard the staff work to lead their dancers to become thriving artists and amazing people.
Students at Creo are known and honored as beautiful children of God. Students are prayed for and encouraged to develop their own spiritual faith and even given the opportunity to participate in faith based dance programs. Parents are encouraged to be actively involved at Creo. Beyond the amazing faith foundation at Creo, students receive excellent dance training. Training that can launch them into further avenues in dance.
Our experience at Creo, and everyone that we know who has children dancing there, is that we feel SO blessed that we have had Creo in our children’s lives. It has been a safe, loving, and welcoming place for...
