Rayito de Sol Spanish Immersion Early Learning Center — Local services in Minnetonka

I have so much respect for the staff at Rayito de Sol. Our daughter’s teacher and the staff there are amazing! The activities they do are (I would say) unique to their center! They were so patient with our daughter acclimating to their center at 18 months, she was breastfed (super velcro baby) and let me tell you… she has thrived in this enriched learning environment. She is more social. Her vocabulary has expanded! They always extend a friendly welcoming as soon as she arrives/departs. I literally drive about 20-25 min to/from daily for her to remain in this specific center. I can’t say enough about them. All the information they provide to you is efficiently written. They recently began their monthly newsletter. They go above and beyond with cultural enrichment, the teachers really get into the engagement portion of this process by dressing up in costume or dancing with the children. Their playground is great, they have good indoor/outdoor activities as well contingent on the season of course. From outdoor “pretend” car washing to their indoor inflatable bouncy house. The app system they use is smooth. They have a grading scale available (monthly) for your child. They incorporate stem activities into their curriculum. Circle time seems very age appropriate! Her teacher is so nurturing and kind! They’re well organized, clean, thorough, communicative. The pictures I receive show her engaging in free play and again, really unique ideas that they use to help create a “fun” atmosphere for the kids. They also offer some great opportunities to meet with the other parents (which I have yet to be able to attend, personally) but the setups and opportunities to do so are really nicely setup, as well! I definitely didn’t know what to expect as she is my first child in a childcare environment so you could say I was a little hesitant and nervous being that I’ve worked on the other side before in several different centers over the years but she is happy, stable and thriving here! I love Rayito de Sol! The teachers are knowledgeable, professional, kind and very involved with parents and children. My child learned so much and has benefitted tremendously from the environment and many special programs and activities this early learning center provides. I highly recommend this beautiful school.

Update 9/20/24. I just attended a meet and greet at the Minnetonka location. What a joy to experience the preschool classroom and see the energy and joy the teacher creates for the children. Rayito de Sol always goes above and beyond. So glad to be part of this...

My son has never been in the care of anyone who isn’t family so we were a bit apprehensive about daycare. Rayito de Sol has made us feel so comfortable and at ease with my son being at their care. We are always greeted at the door with a smile. He had a hard time adjusting at first but in a short time he ran in there excited to see Maestra Andrea.
