Navajo Arch is a personal favorite of mine! Not only is it simply a beautiful arch- but it’s carved out between two giant fins! Almost feels man made the way it opens up into this little ‘courtyard’ space with vegetation and just a single beautiful tree at its center. It’s definitely a site to behold!
Don’t be afraid to walk all the way to the back of the open space as well! A gap between these two immense fins gives you not only another path back to the main trail, but an incredible view of the Devil’s Playground! Highly highly recommend!

It was mid august and in the middle of a long drought so the deer were pretty dehydrated and rather sad looking, but it was interesting to see them nonetheless. We told a park ranger at the trailhead and he was seemed very shocked that there were deer that far along the trail. The arch itself was cute and worth the easy trip to it. Definitely worth...
