Grant Plaza Shopping Center — Local services in Mobile

This is another rip off store with the 10% plus what you pay. I really wish people would wake up and see this is price goughing why can't people see that they owners did this to tax their EBT come on. I went to the one on broad St before the 4th of July the meat was only $20.00 but after tax, and they're extra 10% it came to $37.00 and change and this is to help the poor people in the area WHERE ALL THE GREERS ARE AT. But, you do preciate our business who wouldn't taking money on top of money when people are trying to feed their children. But it's in the poor areas for the walking, bike riding,bus riding people, I wonder how they sleep at night. I will drive 10-20 miles or Mississippi or Florida to buy groceries if there wasn't a wal mart, public, or rouse in this city....

The shopping center is showing its age. Piggly Wiggly, Dollar General, Citi Trends, D.I.P. Laundromat and a 24 hr. self-serve carwash are the customer based sites of the location. Mobile County Health Department has/had a location there, but the last time I visited the site, MCHD was being renovated. Anyway the parking arrangements are a bit odd, plus the striping is faded and hard to see. They do have handicap parking in front of the Piggly Wiggly and Dollar General stores. And, if memory serves me well, parking lights are the old amber...

Piggly Wiggly has some good selection for canned goods and other snacks. Sometimes the produce and produce prices can be a bit high. Even some snacks seem to be a bit more expensive than other grocers. A Dollar General is nearby...
