Merkel's Foods — Local services in Mobridge

Merkel's was just an average, somewhat over priced, small town market. Cheaper than it's SUPER EXPENSIVE local competitor Payless, but it just turned bad. I went to but a few things yesterday, including some fried chicken at the deli. I was shocked. Flies every where! Food out on racks, uncovered. Flies in the heating area with the chicken, on the chicken, on the man potatoes. Yikes! The tomatoes were are mushy, the peppers are soft... Everything prepared or "fresh" was disgusting or hours away from being officially...

I am actually looking for two people from Mobridge, both were friends. Benny Merkel worked for me in two different assignments. His wife, Jolene, was his high school girlfriend. Benny asked his parents to take her in, because she was being abused at home. She was a beautiful little girl, and, according to Benny, his parents allowed it. Some items they don't seem to even know they have. Bring it up to the register, they cant tell the price. Then it's 5 minutes of employees running around, guessing, and asking each other. It's right there on their shelf, and nobody knows what it costs. Really? Don't buy half and half here, it will spoil a day or two later, regardless of the date on the carton. On the good side, the prices here, when known, are better than their competitor, ironically...
