I’ve been shopping and dealing with this place for the last 20+ years. It’s sad that I have to give a bad review. It’s not the product or the quality. It’s the fact that the current employees don’t really seem to have any info or knowledge about the products they sell. Particularly jewelry. I would assume that, since the store sells high quality jewelry, I.e. diamonds, gold, etc. that they would know at least something about it, but they don’t. Not even common questions like, quality of the diamond/stones. Clarity, size of the gem stone/gem stones. They can’t tell a real gem stone from a fake without a diamond tester. Most of the time I have to ask if it’s real, and all I get is (I think so, let me check) I can walk into any Pawn King and ask these simple questions and get a quick direct answer. Every single question answered. And if there happens to be someone that doesn’t know, they will get the person that does. Any questions I have about anything in the store has an answer. I’m sorry, your employee’s are really nice and somewhat eager to help, but they can definitely brush up on their knowledge of inventory. I’ve also purchased lawn equipment from the Davenport location. I was guaranteed that it worked but couldn’t check it in store as it had no gas. Got it home and tried to use it two days later which was a Sunday, it didn’t work. Wasn’t offered a refund, just in store credit which I used to purchase another piece of lawn care equipment. Seemed to work at the store so I used my credit to purchase it. Got it home and filled the gas tank and it’s leaking gas all over the place. I didn’t bother taking it back even though I purchased the warranty. I can’t do anything with in store credit if everything that location sells is broken. I’m about done...
Read moreI called earlier this morning to see if they would take a drum set I have, the woman on the phone said yes as long as it’s a FULL DRUMSET. Full drumset in my eyes is a full piece drumset. I get in, go in to make sure they still have room for it and the other lady says go ahead and bring it in. Now it’s not put together because for one, who could fit a put together drumset in their car and also fit it through the door? Now keep in mind, im postpartum and that is the whole reason I called so I wasn’t hauling in this big thing and for them to turn me away. My husband and I have our son in the car so we were taking turns bringing it all in. And just as I’m bringing in the last pieces, she looks at me and says oh we can’t take it unless its put together. and then proceeded to tell me she told me that over the phone. (which is not the case, she said it needed to be a full drumset which does not clarify having it put together) and only mentioned it as i was basically done bringing each individual piece in. i am so furious as i am now sweaty and frustrated. not only did i have to haul it all inside, but then had to...
Read moreThis store , the workers and the manager, Heaven are the worst people to deal with. She needs a customer service class , because she has none. They will not work with you and I've spent over 2000.00 in the past 8 months in that store. I had a final layaway payment but got called into work a double shift. Called to pay the last payment over the phone and tell her i would pick it up Monday. Nope Heaven can not hold my 2 inch pendant in the safe for a day . I was told it had to be picked up within 24 hours. Ok its Saturday and they are closed Sunday, so technically that would be 24 hours, no shes awful...and the district manager is a bigger joke , I called that man 5 times and never got a return call.
