Pebble Beach Hole 14 — Local services in Monterey

Too many golfers. Visiting Carmel I went for a walk into Pebble Beach and towards Spanish Bay only to be confronted by large numbers of older, Caucasian men. All of them were wearing the same clothes - pastel colored polo shirts, baseball hats and khaki or navy pants/shorts and driving ridiculously small electric vehicles.

When not actually golfing, these people spend their time talking about golf and wherever possible, practicing their golf swing. It's unbelievably boring.

Do yourself a favor, leave the others behind, walk down to Carmel beach and meet some of the lovely dogs that are walked there daily. They're much more interesting, loyal and friendly than the...

Is there really any bad hole here? Even if at this point, you have birdied the first hole, had some pars, and also have your golf shoes full of sand from all of the bunkers you have been in. Yes, I did tip the caddie well. This hole, stay to the left on your tee shot as there is a nice wonderful tree at the bend in the fairway. Gee, they seem to put things at the nicest places. You will have a better open shot or more room to get around the tree. Make sure not to be short and left as there is another bunker there. Just enjoy your round as you dont have...

I'm not a golfer, all I know is that my mother is a golfer, and she wants her part of her ashes spread right around the 8th somewhere. Pebble Beach is as we all know a world class resort and golf course. that's on slot of folks bucket list. Once you see this course in person it becomes, it beauty becomes emmbeeded in your memory.
