Stillwater Cove Access — Attraction in Monterey

What a GREAT beach access in Carmel by the Sea!! Cool temps, saw a teenager have a surprise birthday party, easy access with stone steps, a spicket to rinse your feet off with, and plenty of space to put your blanket. The water was ice cold but there was somebody there with the professional camera and zoom lens in the water taking pictures of two Surfers. I visited Stillwater Cove Access recently and was amazed by the calm, clear waters, lush green surroundings, and stunning coastal views. Fantastic spot that many people don't know about when visiting Pebble Beach. You have to time the tides or access will be under water. If you know where to go, you can cut through the golf course and the a set of stairs down. Plenty of errant golf balls to pick up and the views are incredible on a sunny day. I'm not sure if you can access the beach without a resident badge or if you can pay to get in, but...
