I've known about this store for a decade due to living in proximity of it but never really did the mental math to deduce that it was actually a walk in business. Then the other day, I came to need a giant shovel and that's when it dawned on me what this place was. My fault not theirs as I can be a tad dense but I digress. To the point: Store is great. People were awesome and helpful. Stock looked to be diverse in the areas you'd expect. For my first time in there I felt about as normal as you could having basically walked up into a family business like I owned it lol Prices were a bit ehhh high I guess I'd say? But convenience has its costs. (I expected my giant shovel to be high but jesus christ 56$ for a shovel? I needed a giant shovel not giant price tag D:) Real talk though I felt like because they knew the item was uncommon and niche they upcharged on price simply because they could because what am I gonna do? Not buy it? Pshh. However this is speculation not fact. I won't even front like that.
Only have one actual serious detrimental issue for real and that's parking. There is none fr. You basically gotta park at the citgo and walk across the road or run the risk of getting boonk smashed by traffic dare you park on their side. This is not world ending as far as problems go but I still thought it worth a mention.
8/10. Good overall. Serves its purpose well. Selection is adequate for feed and normal farm shopping. Staff seemed family oriented take that as you wish. Parking doesn't exist.
It's a feed store. What...
Read moreI want to thank everyone at Farmers Feed , LLC for going above and beyond the call of duty this morning . I misplaced my wallet after buying farrier supplies today and didn't realize it until I was across the street trying to buy gas ,they came outside to help me look for my wallet and bought me gas since I couldn't find my wallet...... Unbelievable in this day and age for this act of kindness !!! I can not give enough thanks for their help !!! Right after they paid for my gas I found my wallet and repaid them but it's the thought that counts the most , not many businesses will do these kind of things for a customer they barely know , if you need farm or farrier supplies around the Montgomery AL area I highly recommend you give them a try and as far as farrier supplies go they have one of the largest selections I've ever seen and they know their business...

Kudo's to Farmers Feed. They go out of their way to be helpful. It's nice to do business with folk's that appreciate you being there. I'm from out of town and called ahead to check on a seed inventory and fertilizer. They were running out of stock and they said, "no problem, we'll put your order on a pallet and have it ready for you when you get here". They didn't ask for a credit card to hold the order. They helped load the pallet and everyone seemed super helpful. Thanks...
