American Deli — Restaurant in Montgomery

We decided to Uber Eats from American Deli and I made the mistake of selecting the one on Norman Bridge Road. When we received the Reuben, it has two slices of corned beef on soggy marbled bread. The fries were white as a ghost and wiggled when I picked them up. The Philly cheese looked okay but was undercooked and also soggy, with uncooked fries. I NEVER complain. I am a 4 or 5 star reviewer if service is good and people try!! We drove to American Deli on Vaughn, with all the food with us to confirm our feedback and misbelief. The cook and customer service representative were in agreement and appalled. We ordered the same from Vaughn American Deli and received meals which were cooked and made appropriately enough to be served to the public.

If you are going to order from American Deli, go to Vaughn. Working on a refund now but have gotten the run around so will try again tomorrow. I do not like to leave negative reviews but the food and service were not good. Hoping that training and continuous improvement are taken into account. With some hard work and managerial attention, it can be great. I apologize if it was just a difficult night for the staff but the food was...

I have never got bad service here but this particular time I ordered honey bbq wings and got hot bbq..I called and was told to bring the food back. I brought it back and THOUGHT they would exchange WRONGG!! I was told it was nothing wrong with my food and the bbq is spicy and sweet not honey BBQ . I stated well I ordered honey bbq and if I can't get them I want my money back. I was told they don't do refunds 🤔 I got impatient and snapped... long story short I got my money back, but this is the fuel to the fire.... I only bit one wing, ate maybe 6 fries and only took a few sips of lemonade, I only took the food back in ,and was told I had to pay for the lemonade since I didn't bring it back 😂😂 she was petty and I lost it ....longer story short I got all my money back n kept the lemonade ,but I advise all to taste test your food before leaving!! Food was hot and fresh customer service...

Ordered the grilled chicken salad. Got back to work ate 1/2 and discovered a 2" long black hair. Called to notify the manager. She asked me to bring the salad back. So, I had to clock out from work again. And waited for 15 min. When the manager handed me a new salad. I told her "I didn't want a new salad. I had lost my appetite." She said well you didn't say you didn't want one. I said I wasn't asked. She said well, we don't give refunds. "I said, well thanks for wasting more of my time. Now I'm late for work!" I left her with the new salad. Bottom line don't trust restaurants that don't offer refunds for their disgusting mistakes. I hope the health department...
