We toured during the summer when the campus was undergoing some upgrades and most buildings were locked. Our tour guide was unable to get into several buildings such as the cafeteria and male dorms. The tour was brief and not very helpful. The campus is crowded, there is very limited student parking so students are asked to park in town and shuttle to school. The dorms are in terrible condition. I wouldn’t wish that on anyone. There is a smell of campsite restrooms in the one we toured, urine with dampness. The dorm room model was cramped and dirty. Clearly they added an extra bed to these once double rooms to accommodate more students and make more money. Every student needs a decent workspace. This did not make sense to us. And the model bathroom was dirty. The carpet in the hallway was threadbare and everything smelled damp. The rock and marble work of all the buildings is pretty but unfortunately causes a dampness. Montreat is not gated and very close to the town. People and tourists were walking all around nearby and it would be very easy to access the grounds at any time. They do not have full...
Read moreBEWARE: "Surviving off ancestors work & reputation" stage of deprecation. $40k/ Semester to find your own YouTube training and get a little paragraph from adjuncts as "education". A couple courses have actual educational provisions. Otherwise it's just you, the book, and the test. Free courses on YouTube have multitudes better training. They hide behind "you're not Godly" as retaliation to any feedback. Only survive by using religion as gaslighting and an epic campus handed down by ancestry far greater. Sad. Truly sad and pathetic literally the worst by far of any education I've ever had. Flee like Sodom and Gomorrah. Probably have been infiltrated by Marxists to destroy a Christian institution. Tragic. I really wanted to...
