Dollar General — Local services in Morehead City

Their management team is horrible there. Their key manager, Rayna (sp?), is abusive towards guests, yelling at, embarrassing, and berating them for a simple misunderstanding and then when asked what her name is (to talk to upper management about her) was seen taking off her name tag, lying by telling customers she didn't have one, and then refusing to tell customers her name. Her name was only given by another employee when asked. When the store manager, Tina, was called she seemed not to really even care saying she gave her a "verbal warning" and "not sure what else I could do, I wasn't there" and even had the nerve to say "well, since I didn't see it in person I've learned that the customer isn't always right". After she was told by 2 customers - that didn't even know each other - pretty much the exact same story. Was told by corporate the district manager would give a call in 24 to 48 hours - well that was over a week ago....

Cause it's near my house, & it has just about everything I need plus this one closes @ 10pm, little problem w/ the friendliness of some employees there, there's a couple that's real nice & will smile & talk to u, but the rest have a problem greeting u @ the door ( they act like they really don't want to) their not nice when they ring me up, they don't ask " how u doing today" or I'll try & say something to u but don't act like they want to answer u back, now like I said, there's a couple n there that takes the time to ask how ur doing & smile, the music they play is not intended for the older people, it's like 80's acid rock, I thought it was supposed to be just nice elevator music, not no singing & yelling, but besides that,...

Dollar General is another lower cost store. You can find some really good deals but the selection is limited. It's a good place to make a quick stop without standing in long lines. They have plenty of locations which makes it easy to make a quick purchase. It's my go to store when I am limited on time. Lots of parking in a well lit lot. They typically stay open till 10:00 pm which is...
