Normally I would give them 5 stars but lately there has been a serious problem with them putting the right product in the bag. If they were willing to exchange an un-open product when they get it wrong it would just be mildly annoying to have to drive back there but not too big of a deal. We have a friend that always orders on line and they have messed up his order twice. My daughter recently ordered in store and they messed up hers. Today my girlfriend was in there and they messed up our order. Normally we order on line but sometimes we don't because we had an issue with an extremely rude employee several months ago. I go through the menu and place the order the night before to make sure the stuff we want doesn't sell out before we get there. The next morning we pay the bills and pick up feed for our farm then if we have a little extra left we add on to our order when we pick it up. That was never a problem until this particular employee tried to tell us we couldn't add on to the order. The manager put the employee in check but now we don't order on line if we think that we may have a little more cash to add on. We spend between 2 to 4 hundred every trip. Today we made 2 separate orders for a total of 3 ounces and they got one of the ounces wrong. We looked up on line what we wanted and the one they put in there wasn't even on their menu. We NEVER buy shake and rarely buy popcorn. They gave us an ounce of shake instead of bud. Granted she should have checked but she hit them on the way to work and was in a hurry and we used to be able to trust them. Within the last year they have shorted us pre rolls a couple of times and we have purchased 2 different disposable vapes that leaked badly. They have a no exchange policy if it's open but how do you know something is wrong with it until you open it? They told us we couldn't exchange the weed even though it wasn't open. There are too many dispensaries around to continue to put up with this crap. Problem is we absolutely love the Ozone brand. We used to really love doing business with these guys as well. But this is our last go around with them. From now on they are going to take the time to go over EVERY item with us and we will continue to buy our vapes across the street.. Despite my negativity in this particular review I want to make it clear that I do understand it takes a few to figure out that some employees need to be replaced. I also want to add that they are normally very professional and friendly. They also have excellent products and decent prices. I hope that y'all still give them a try because I don't think that you'll be disappointed - just make sure that you check your order because mistakes do happen. Thank you Ascend for the years of excellent service and products - really hope that you get your staff to understand the importance of double checking the orders with the customers so that we can avoid these mix ups...
Read moreCustomer service: 5/5 I called ahead and had all questions answered efficiently and professionally. I arrived near closing yet they were more than happy to serve me. I also had a very nice conversation with the bud-tenders regarding things to do in the area/Ann Arbor.
Establishment: 5/5 Clean, organized, and a lot of SPACE (important!) Ample parking (also important) ++ Morenci as a town was a pleasant surprise; it isn't giant in size, allowing the citizens and businesses to be unique.
Product: 4/5 Pungent smell from all sampled products. ++ Visually stunning. Incredibly expensive. BUT, as of this review, it is not even two weeks into legalization in Michigan, and most states see these prices fall down to "normal" levels fairly quickly, so this is not a huge concern. Effects were pretty good. You can definitely "feel" it (and if you aren't a daily consumer like I am, you won't have a single problem), but for experiences consumers like me, I expect the most expensive product to be "outstanding." However, I do realize that because it is so early in legalization that there are also very few growers. In addition, I am unfairly comparing this product to product from other states that have been able to let their growers refine their processes over years, not days.
Overview: DEFINITELY visit Michigan Supply & Provisions. As a cannabis nerd, I have had the opportunity to visit each recreational state in the first 1-2 weeks of legalization, and this place is much further along in their growth than other dispensaries from other states were 2 weeks in. Sorry Washington + Colorado, you may have the best product (in my opinion), but had every state started at the same time, this place would have been 'most valuable rookie.'
Below I have pictured ~0.35 grams of their "Headmaster Kush" strain. Cheers!
EDIT 1 YEAR LATER: As predicted, since writing this, their price of an eighth has halved. Wish it had been like this at the start of legalization, but hell, what're you gonna do when the state needs their tax money? XDX Can't wait to come...
Read moreWe called at 8:15 and asked if we could place a curbside order and that we would be getting there around 8:55. They said yes, but “don’t come any later”. We got there at 8:54 and were told that not only had they already put the order away, but that we couldn’t pay with a card and that we would only get the order back out if we paid with cash. They went on about how since we got there after 9, their system couldn’t take cards. We pointed out that it wasn’t 9 yet, and that we still had 5 minutes if they just wanted to run the card. The lady “helping” us refused and said we would only get our stuff if we paid her cash. We said we didn’t bring any and the lady said she wouldn’t run our card because it was after 9 once again. We showed her two different clocks that said the time was only 8:56 (time had started to pass since we were talking about all this). The lady went and checked her clock, which said 8:57. I asked once again if she could run the card since it was before 9, and she refused, turning us away.
If they hadn’t put the order away (we even called to let them know we were on the way and what time we would be getting there!) and if they had just checked their own clock in the first place, this whole thing could’ve just been avoided. It seemed like a bad attempt at a shakedown.
So if you don’t wanna be shaken down for cash, don’t order curbside pickup. We’ve ordered from here dozens of times, definitely not coming back though....
