I took my Mustang here to have an alarm installed and the place got me in the same day. Very reasonable profession and friendly. Ray specifically helped me out with this purchase. What was especially exceptional about this visit was before starting my car, there was a slight delay. The vehicle they were working on before mine proved to be somewhat challenging and it caused a slight delay with them starting my car. Obviously things like this happen outside of there or anyone’s control. I forget the other gentleman‘s name I believe he was more of a lead employee, but he came to me directly and advised that he had good and bad news. I took the bad news first which he explained the delay but in compensation he upgraded the alarm to be installed in my vehicle. This was done at no charge, because I was patient and agreed to bring my vehicle back first thing the following morning. So I brought my vehicle back first thing, they completed it, I picked it up and now I have a great alarm, it works perfectly, my vehicle was returned to me neat and orderly. It’s very rare these days to find customer service that again is friendly, professional and fair. I would recommend this business and I would recommend Ray as an employee as an asset with any large organization....

INCOMPETENCE!!!!!! I walked in with a simple question regarding my speakers as to which was positive, which was negative(both were green, one with a yellow stripe, the other with a purple stripe) so that i can wire them to my amp in my truck. i also needed power cord, remote wire, etc.... so she grabs this "amp wiring kit" and proceeds to tell me that all the wires and connectors i will need would be in the box. I was surprised that the connectors that went directly into my factory dodge caliber 6x9 would be in this generic kit so i asked. She assured me that they were and i was good to go. When i got home i pulled everything out to make sure it was all there. That's when i noticed that of course this only included brass crimp on connectors. So i then call back to find out where the confusion was and really just get an answer as to positive and negative so i could solder the wires like i had originally planned and she told me that the reason she didnt tell me in the store is because "the techs get paid for that knowledge so if we aren't doing the install then we cant give advice". this to me is completely asinine. Even if this was the case then why did she direct me to buy this kit? This place is horrible and filled with...

I can't rate my experience based on the quality of work they provide here at Advanced Car Stereo but I can tell you about my experience with this shop. On two separate occasions I left two different cars here to have something done to them. On both occasions I left my vehicle at the shop and did not hear from them for the entire day. Once I realize it was getting close to closing time I called, only to be told that the work was not able to be done to my car for different reasons. On one occasion the door speakers I took in for installation did not fit in the stock location (I ended up doing the install myself and they fit) and the other they did not have the correct accessories to complete the job so I would have to return. Now some of this is understandable but why did it take the whole day to figure this out? I felt like they didn't get around to it after I left my car there all day and an excuse was given to me so that I would return on a later day. Both times I gave this shop a chance they were not able to do the job after leaving my car with them all day. As a customer I lost time and time is all we really value...
