I just wanted to share how much fun we had on the water with Captain Andrew! Our morning half-day fishing adventure was nothing short of amazing. Our four boys, aged 16, 15, 14, and 12, were thrilled as we managed to catch three different species of fish. Seeing their excitement was absolutely priceless. When you are in a new location and hire someone to take you out on their boat, it can be tricky to find the right person. Fortunately, Captain Andrew turned out to be the perfect choice. His patience and thoughtfulness while dealing with the boys made things so much easier for my wife and me. We couldn't have asked for a better experience. It was truly a five-star experience, and I would like to thank Andrew for a great time.

I would highly recommend opting for the AM trip if it fits into your schedule. We noticed that boat traffic picked up towards the end of our trip, so the morning session was ideal. We are definitely interested in the possibility of a drift boat trip in the future if we have the chance to return to this beautiful place.

We called day-of to rent several kayaks for our group. I left a voicemail on their machine, only to be called back by the owner less than a minute later. He instructed me to call his son, Ben, who later informed me that his parents - who own the shop - were on vacation and he was manning the store. So not only did I get a prompt call back, but I got it from someone who was supposed to be on vacation!

Ben was super helpful and friendly, giving my group exact instructions on how to get to the boat launch and what we would expect when we got there. When finished, he was quick to pick up the boats and even loaded them all himself into the trailer (I offered to help, I swear!)

Andy was amazing. We came from Florida and had 0 knowledge about trout fishing or any other fishing here and we came out feeling like professionals. I am confidence went from 10% to 110% to catch fish now thanks to Andy. He had a great selection of baits and anything else you'd need for the area. He's extremely caring, hospitable and funny. He even had a map of the area and let us keep a copy with some local spots. I suggest anyone make the detour over and check it out.
