The process of getting the t-shirts ready to ship to Project Repat took a little longer than I had anticipated, about 2-3 hours, but in all fairness I was trying to cut the t-shirts apart without my college-age son, who is doing online college classes from home, from seeing what I was doing. I also ordered a queen sized quilt that had 42 panels, so there was a lot of cutting. I was very surprised that they finished the quilt so quickly and shipped it back to me only 2 weeks later. This must be their busiest season trying to make all the requested quilts for holiday season gifts. Because I ordered a bit late for that, I did pay for expedited service, and they did not disappoint. The quilt was put together very well and I know my son will love it! I did include at least one t-shirt where the written words did exceed the 12 x 12 measurement because they were written vertically, so they ended up eliminating the last symbol, which resulted in losing the meaning of the entire saying. They do say to make sure that the writing portion is no larger than 12 x 12, but not to put notes on any of the shirts, so I could not express my wishes with this t-shirt. They do ask for your phone number in case they have questions, and I do wish they had called me about this one as I would have told them to eliminate the first word "I" instead. The saying was I - then a red heart - and then the symbol for Pi, a mathematical equation. It now just reads " I" and then the red heart so the phrase is not completed. I know they recycle the scraps, so the rest of the shirt is now gone. We'll have to see my son's reaction at Christmas and decide if we will try to modify it or just leave it as is. Otherwise, the quality of the quilt was wonderful and I would purchase another quilt again from them, but make sure to follow the directions...

I viewed the videos on Project Repat to see what the process was, and then started going through all of my "collector" shirts to see which ones I wanted to include on a quilt. I was really nervous about letting some of them go as I didn't want to be "scammed." The entire process was so easy, and the turnaround time was absolutely awesome. I had sent in a tank top, and it was just a little shy of material in "making the cut" for the quilt. Project Repat put a backing on it, and sent me an invoice by email for $5.00 for the backing. Somehow, I didn't get that email and the next day, I got a reminder that I had a balance due. When I clicked on the email, there was a friendly reminder that I owed $5.00 for a backing. I immediately paid the $5.00 fee and sent them an email advising that I did not receive the first email and wanted to assure them that it was paid. I immediately received a reply email with a "no worries" response, and that my order would be shipped soon. When I received my shipment confirmation email, I was so excited and couldn't wait until my quilt was in my hands! OMG, it was more than I could have expected. It was perfectly laid out, and I loved the order they put the shirts in on my quilt. I immediately shared it, and had several inquiries as to my quilt, and I was so happy to pass on Project Repat. I can't wait to do...

Project Repat T-shirt quilts are the millennial version of our great-grandmother's memory quilts.

I was honestly a little skeptical at first. But I couldn't bring myself to throw away all these nostalgic t-shirts I had collected over the last 2 decades and I couldn't keep lugging them around unworn - so I went ahead and shipped them off to Project Repat. I was blown away by the result. The design is clean and simple - not at all bulky or tacky like I expected. The quality of work is excellent, and now all of my memories are a practical (and super soft) blankets. My friends can't stop exclaiming about them!

My only advice - make sure you know exactly what size you want before you purchase and follow the directions they give you for the t-shirts exactly. If you make a mistake (like I did), customer service is friendly and quick to respond but they are limited in what they can fix without charging you. Eventually all of my problems were fixed, but it cost me a little extra to get exactly what I wanted - and that could have been avoided if I'd done my homework properly. In the end though, it was definitely worth it. I love my Project...

I’m so grateful for Project Repat. I had a quilt made in memory of my mother using shirts of various textures and styles. It’s not a quick process, so be prepared to wait several months, but it’s absolutely worth it. You’ll need to precut the shirts according to their guidelines, and while it is on the pricier side, the final product is beautiful and meaningful. The team is thorough and thoughtful throughout the entire experience. Thank you Project Repat, for helping me preserve these precious memories.

I sent in my husbands Miami Dolphin jerseys (stored in a box in the closet for 5+years) that he was no longer wearing, due to a 100 pound weight loss. I am so proud of him for working hard to lose the weight and keep it off, I wanted to display his jerseys in a way that was beautiful and usable. My heart sank when I cut them in half with high hopes this quilt turned out great. I ordered a full with 14"X14" panels with dark grey backing. I was anxiously waiting to recieve it in the mail, when I got an email stating that 16"x16" panels would work better. I went ahead and paid the small upcharge. When it came in the mail I was so excited to give it to him, I couldn't wait until Christmas! When he opened it, he was stunned on how beautifully hs jerseys were and at the amzing quality of the quilt. I was so impressed with the way it came out and I am so glad that they emailed me to inform that it would look better with the bigger panels. I reccommend this product to anyone and everyone! Amazing! I am in the process of figuring out what quilt I want to do next!
