I have unfortunately been to this location numerous times in the two years I have lived in my home. They got rid of the Marion store and that's where I live I have to go all the way to the Morganton store. It started when I decided I was going to sign up for services I had to go and pick up my equipment. I went in and got my router, modem, and two cable boxes. Well I get all the equipment home and neither of the cable boxes work so I was told to go back and exchange them for two new ones that they were messed up get them home the same thing. The next day i called and was told the same thing they were bad to bring them in and exchange them. I go down there and request a different model. Duncan informed me they do not know anything about them they get them shipped to the store and give them out that's all. Well I get that set home and they still don't work so I go back down there one more time and exchange them well guess what same thing for a 4th time. This time I go back down to the store and spoke with Duncan again and he sends a tech to my house. The tech gets there and advised me that they don't even have the cable boxes added on my account and that's why they aren't working. Thanks a lot Duncan that's a lot of wasted gas. Well fast forward to a year later my modem goes out so I back down there and Duncan can't even located my account I mean I've only been in there 5 times before. I went to upgrade my phone a few months ago and Duncan couldn't even find out how to upgrade my phone he said it doesn't give him the option so I went to another store and guess what, no issue whatsoever. The last time I went in there to exchange my cable box because the dvr stopped working and Duncan gave me another cable box with a bad dvr so it was a waste or trip I had to go to a store even further away to get one that works. Duncan is ignorant and has no idea what he's doing (not sure how he still has a job). He stands there with a crap eating grin on his face and hands on his hips and his go to answer is I don't know you'll have to call customer service or I can't find your account. Why haven't I had the same answer from any other store. From now on if I ever have to go back I will make it a point to ask for anyone else but Duncan or better yet I won't go to this store ever again I miss the...
Read moreWe called Charter to have service installed twice. Neither appointment was kept. It was very difficult to find out the reason. It seemed there was a problem with getting control of the numbers from our present carrier. HOWEVER, NO ONE FROM CHARTER EVER CALLED US TO SAY THERE WAS A PROBLEM. When they missed the first appointment, we went to the local Charter office and they assured us they had all the correct information in the system and the problem was taken care of. The installation was scheduled for today 1/2/2015. We called to confirm the appointment this morning and after speaking to several people and being put on hold several times, we were told there was a problem and it had not been turned over to an installer. HOWEVER, AGAIN NO ONE CALLED US TO ADVISE US OF ANY PROBLEM. That's twice we have been duped by Charter. It won't happen again. We will seek service elsewhere. This is a 3rd rate company. So Spectrum sent tech to my house the following week to cut all my cable lines on the outside of house. Tech cut all lines in front before I could throw him out of yard.
