Stardust Pool — Local services in Morris Township

Beautiful wooded setting in the NJ highlands. Water is heated, always warm and clean. Kiddy pool is nice but sometimes under utilized. Cost of membership is very reasonable, a great value with free perks such as swim lessons and gas grills. Lots of activities for kids: swings, basketball court, horseshoes, game room, etc. It appears that new leadership has begun addressing the issues needing attention and done an outstanding job returning Stardust to its glory days. Kudos to them. Stardust Pool is a treasure, a wonderful place for families to relax, to play, to swim at a safe, friendly place close to home. The pool itself was nice. Its a neighborhood pool tucked away behind the main road. Nice seating areas and concession stand. I can't comment about membership, as we were there for swim meet. My main issue was that I had a child who was hurt previously and was walking around on crutches. Its zero percent handicap accessible. There are handicap parking spaces but due to nature of environment they were on a big slope. However they have 2 paths to walk in. 1. Stairs or 2. Ramp like walkway. The walkway was covered with overgrown trees that we had to watch for branches and our faces. It was also covered with potholes. Once in only one steep sloop of stairs down to the pool.
