Talked to Miss Watson approx Feb.19, 2019. Miss Watson is the controler over Lubbers in Cheney. We delt with Steve Piska. Danny in Service. Rick Epp in sales. We had our 2013 Ford escape in for repairs. Coolant problems. We asked Miss Watson if they could put us into another car. We were told "NO" with no explanation why. We asked for our down payment of $1000.00 cash to be refunded back to us. We were told "NO" again. They kept all current payments of Apx. $4000.00 thousand dollars of payments and took back our car. Miss Watson said that the owners of Lubbers was making all dececisions on our 2013 white ford Escape. Miss Watson told us that the owners said we were very understanding about the long delay and not getting our car repaired in over 5 months. We had to still make payments while our car sat down on lubbers parking lot and nothing being done about it. Lubbers is not recommended by us to purchase a car or truck. Danny in service and Sarah in the payment department are not polite working with. Rick Epp in sales is not recommend to use either. No return phone calls or nothing from anyone down there once we took our car to them for repairing our Escape. They are rip off company and all work against you. DO Not Trust Them at all. Wow they responded instead of calling. Since you can't post a responce to thiers. How they forget t was there mechanic that broke the part on back order. And I'm suppose to be happy because thier going to show it as a postive paid off loan on my credit. But that don't hellp with my down payment and monthly payments that I lost. And no...

My vehicle had a mechanical issues SINCE the day i bought it, Curtis's goto guy said it was something, not listening to me, and said vehicle was ok. After having Lubbers rediagnose the problem (before the warranty ran out), it was a $2022 problem that I have to pay for, even though it was the problem since the beginning. The only choice I have now is to file a lawsuit personally against Curtis, Nate, and Curtis's goto guy. The vehicle was i believe under their warranty, but the dealership "Didn't have the parts", but now since warranty is out, they're willing to pay half of the repairs NOW, (on a problem that was there in the beginning and during warranty), since my warranty is expired.
HEED THE WARNING: IF YOU BUY FROM LUBBERS, MAKE SURE 1000% OF THE TROUBLE YOU HAVE, THAT THEY KNOW ABOUT IT BEFORE LEAVING THE LOT, LUBBERS WORD AND WARRANTY MEAN NOTHING!! (PS. MAKE SURE YOU GET A 55 GALLON DRUM OF KY JELLY)
Update: 4-27-24: Got us another one from Curtis Lubbers. We only deal with Curtis. Curtis is an EXCEPTIONAL SALES PERSON. Curtis had everything done, just waiting for us to show up and do paperwork. Awesome place to buy a car from. He definitely takes the fear and stress out of buying a vehicle.
Place is easy to deal with, after buying a vehicle, customer service...
Read moreWebsite lists inventory, offers chat option. Chat option lets you select sales or service. I chose sales. Lauren N would neither confirm nor deny if the specific inventory item was available. She only wanted my contact information so a salesperson could contact me to "give me the most up-to-date inventory items which match my criteria" which is code for "sell me something I don't want" based upon more than a dozen experiences I've had in the past two months. Frankly, I'm tired of being hounded by salespeople who refuse to listen to what I say. She offered that I could call the dealership, but there's a reason I'm online and not on the phone. She would not give me any other option. After I ended the chat, she followed with "could have a sales person confirm if it was on the lot". Well no freaking kidding, WHY DO YOU THINK I CHOSE THE CHAT OPTION FOR SALES. If I could give 0 stars for their website service I would. I was hoping the small town dealership might have a better sales department, but I'm not driving out there to be treated the same way I was online, that's for sure. Whatever happened to salespeople who listen and want to do right by their customers instead of bullying them into looking at anything that shares 1 characteristic with their long list of specific needs? So far the only one who's listened to me is Longbine...
