As many issues as I have had with Kenetic's CS reps lately, it was an absolute pleasure to have Dakota as my tech today! I was even more pleasantly surprised when he had the right modem in his hands. Having to wait on it and worry about scheduling another tech have been scratched right off my plate! Kenetic, he is worth his paycheck and then some. He had my issues diagnosed immediately! Why in all that is Holy, could your 4,5,6, ( awe heck, I forgot how many I talked to this past week.), other techs not have figured it out, IDK. Just a thought here, but given their behavior and lack of help, they are NOT worth their paychecks. Ya'll need more techs like Dakota, not just in the field, but working Tech Support in CS. Ya'll may want to think about bringing your CS back to the U.S.!!!! And, I say this, because the last two reps I have had the pleasure of working my case, are what CS should be, kind, helpful, courteous, patient, friendly and act like they actually like their jobs and helping others. DAKOTA, thank you, again, for your help and advice if I have further issues in the future!
*ADDITION 5/10/24 Kenetic, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE give this CS rep, Lynda Vander Molen in the Loyalty dept, a BIG FAT RAISE!!! When I was at my wits end with your CS team in Jamaica, this lady was a gift from God! I did not intentionally leave her out of my review, I did not have her name. I told her upfront that I was past pissed off, and I was sorry she had to get my frustration. She immediately went to work adjusting my attitude! She was kind, funny, sincere, and KNEW HER JOB! She found out why I had not received my new modem; she sent me a tech, Dakota, the very next day when others stated they could not do that. She did not put me on hold, because she said keeping me on the line with her reassured me, and made a more personal experience, and she was RIGHT! That also kept me from being disconnected. I could go on, and on but I think you get my drift. Lynda, saying THANK YOU, in this situation, just does not seem adequate. You are the reason I did not FIRE...
ย ย ย Read moreThe technician was friendly yet professional; polite yet very patient. He went above & beyond what I'm accustomed to via your technicians. He was a pleasant surprise. He did not use the weather, it was raining, as an excuse to do inadequate work. He also exhibited no signs of resentment for my lack of knowledge related to the condition of previous phone jacks in my home. He was satisfied with my being the customer and his skills as the expert. I think he should be a cultural sensitive trainer for this rural area. Can I request him if I have any more phone issues? By the way the last technician that was dispatched to my home did a terrible job. He came at an unscheduled time so I missed him. He left a note that my service was ready for a landline phone. He never came inside to check the hacks as I had requested. So I called the office & was told that he was correct & I just needed to purchase a phone & plug it up. Well I purchased two different phones & had no dial tone. I had the jacks tested & guess what, no dial tones. The jacks were no good. So I've been paying for a service I never received. The landline is necessary because there is a disabled person in my home who can't operate a cell phone. Now I would like my account credited for service paid for but never received. ย ย ย Read moreNew house and I have been told Kinetic wonโt serve our new house even though every other house surrounding us has kinetic service. We seem to be in a kinetic desert I feel because they simply donโt want to do the work. They went a lot further to install to the house on the other end of the road. They literally refused to even consider and claimed to have made a site visit even though the security camera picked nothing up. I donโt typically like to do this but I felt it necessary to at least share my experience. I even have the email thread of all of the communication as well. Two stars only because the lady helping me was exceptional throughout and did a great job of keeping me informed as to what my situation was.

I was contacted today by a field technician who reviewed my area and found it to be within Kineticโs service area and within a few hours I was contacted by Colby who set up an install appointment as well as my account. He was extremely helpful working around my schedule and I am ecstatic to adjust my review over the way this has been handled this week. I am looking forward to utilizing my Kinetic...
