Food Lion — Local services in Mount Airy

Not only did the store have Great Deals this weekend, but the staff was so friendly and helpful to me. The Wonderful Lady with her blonde hair pulled back into a ponytail bagged my groceries and placed them neatly inside my cart, I overheard her saying to the cashier that her break was almost over and she had to get off the line now. I thanked her for all she had done and she appreciated it and left. As I was walking to the car with my cart and placing my items inside, another Awesome lady with auburn hair approached me and asked me if I needed help, I laughed and said that you guys here are so attentive and helpful, I love this Food Lion! She helped me a lot loading my groceries in the car. I also thanked her and she appreciated it and then began to talk to someone I could not see, I looked again and it was the other Great lady who helped me place my groceries in the cart. She, on her break was helping with the carts outside and bringing them inside. These particular ladies deserve more than Kudos and 5 stars ⭐️, they need to be recognized by Food Lion as Employees who Go Over and Beyond What is Expected, and What it Means to Keep Consumers Coming Back. If your looking for the best produce and great prices, Food Lion is the place to go. If you get their MVP card you can save a lot and get other items at a great price if you down load the app and watch the ads. Wal-mart continues to raise their produce prices and it's always a hit and miss. If your not happy the way the produce looks at Food Lion on the shelf because it get's down to the last few, the associate has always went back to get more if it is in stock. II know produce is not easy to manage, but Food Lion does it the best. Food Lion also donates a lot of produce to the local food pantry as well as other items. Way To Go!. I'm Homebound. I have to send someone for me to the store for me. I've had to start asking the store to order things for me, as we buy several weeks worth of some items. The store managers here have been great & have been going out of their way to be helpful for me! I really appreciate the amazing customer service & courtesy I've been shown. They have been ordering cases of yogurt for me ahead of time so that they have it in stock. All in all, this has been a Great store to shop at.
