Dollar General — Local services in Mount Carmel

I just dont give this place a second thought. I Used ta frequently shop here but, the store went down, and more down, always a struggle ta get through the isles. The isles are often filled with hopping carts full of cats full discontinued merch. and ta have the manager rfunnin back in forth, squeezing by ya, and I counted.. 8 times that while myself and my elderly friend with dementia were on an Isle that this manager was back and forth in front of us, to the left of us and to the right.. and though she said "excuse me" every single time, we had to literally pick up an end of the cart, ta move it sideways so she could get past or reach in front of us ta put something on a shelf. Theres barely enough room down an isle for a cart and 1 person let alone two of us and another of whom just didn't give matter to it much. The elderly woman with Dementia that was with with me was beginning ta get anxious and shakey and so needless ta say. I mentioned the problem, because it was an issue.. and I was spoken to by her in a way of that was very humiliating for me and being with anger. And in front of and in front of 7 0r 8 other customers. And I will never step foot in to or spend another cent in that place as long as she is there. She's just all over, like a wild Taz and customers cant be comfortable tryin ta shop with that going on around ya down the isles. Needless to say, out of what I'm sure was nearing well over $200.00 of merchandise was just left in the store because I was beside myself with the way I was bein spoken too. And I am in my mid fifties and my friend 74. I feel horrible that this is not a good review and I dont want to anyone losing their job, or ones livlihood over it. I have had to argue just to save the $3 after spending $9 on Nabisco Ritz Crackers. I don't know why they even post a discount savings like this if they don't intend to honor it!?!? Well today I got so mad explaining what the discount says I'm on the shelf that I said just let me pay, I'm mad and ready to get the hell out of this store before I do something stupid!
