Dollar General — Local services in Mount Orab

I asked last weekend why they were out of everything. The mgr said because they had inventory to do but a large shipment would be in on this Tuesday. So I came in everyday and still not stocked. Yesterday on Friday, I was told to check back about 1. Well I downloaded my digital coupons this morning. I was out of dog food and saw there was a $2 off coupon for Rachel Ray's Nutrish dog food. I double checked to make sure I had downloaded it. Before going to checkout I walked through the store and still no stock. I found the mgr stocking sugar and asked if she had paper towels or any cleaning supplies to stock today. She's like I don't know I've got to stock this sugar. So I went up to checkout and waited in line. The young man working is a total grump. I always ask how are you today. He never says anything like did you find everything okay or hi how are you. So I put my phone number in and it doesn't take the 2 off coupon. I try putting my number in again. It still doesn't take it off. So I told him to get the mgr. I tried pulling it up in my phone but it wouldn't open and no connection. I'm in the store almost every other day. She still wouldn't take the $2 off. I told her to forget it. I then went to family dollar who told me their truck comes on Wednesday and the first things they stock are cleaning supplies, paper towels and toilet paper. The nice help they get do not stay because evidently DG doesn't either treat them good or doesn't pay enough. So now we have...

The new store is great, and most of the staff are friendly with the exception of the daytime manager. She is short with customers, and is never friendly. I'm sure she is busy, but being in customer service a smile and hello can go along way. I know there's a few ladies that have been working there for forever, and they have nice friendly demeanors as do the new employees. The blonde manager during the day needs an attitude adjustment. I have a family member that refuses to shop here because of a bad experience with this lady. The only other negative thing is the long wait to be checked out. Majority of your time in this store is waiting in line to pay for your items. The design of the registers, are a little funky too. I went to get in line one day, and then realized the line started down an aisle that I couldn't see with 10 people deep waiting as well. The early morning is the best time to shop at this store, after school lets out forget about it. I've had one item and had to wait in line for 15min before, while other employees couldn't be found to open a new register, or the manager just ignores the line and continues to stock the shelves. Overall I shop here because there's nowhere else, or because I don't feel like running all the way to...

Every time the coup site is updated. I loose my access. There is no where to change an email or start a new account with same number. But when updated it won't let me back in with my information. Frustrating. So I used my husbands phone number. You all updated . Did it again. Now I have no access to coupons. Am now forced to just shop at Krogers because I can get to their coupons. Their site is more friendly to change info and or fix it and or start a new account. I spent alot of money at Mt Orab DG because of the digi coupons. Now I can't shop their because you have made it so difficult every time you all update the site. And no one has time to sit on phone for half hr with you all and that's when you can find someone who knows how to help. I now have 2 phone numbers I can not get to my coupons because your updates lock us out and nothing to allow us to change anything. Email addresses do not last forever. Things happen sometines.
