My family and I moved to Mount Orab last spring, but we’ve only just now made our way to Hometown Swirls. I wish we had made it there sooner! The blueberry soft serve reminded us of the blueberry ice cream from a dairy bar in a town we used to live in many years ago. It was so nostalgic! Our first visit was experience was one we’ll never forget. It was busy that summer evening, a baseball game had just finished, and the drive thru was long. It moved so fast though! We were in and out in about 20 minutes. We’re a family of 5 and we all got ice cream that day. So the employees were working FAST. We’ve been back several times since then and we’ve had nothing but good experiences. Friendly staff, fun environment. We have been visiting Hometown Swirls since their opening day :) Their first year was full of fun events for the community. Sweet treats that brought us back each visit, and great customer service that keeps us raving and suggesting this wonderful local spot! I have personally tried several holiday flavors and each one is great in it's own way. We have even made holiday pie and ice cream cookie orders that we have loved our favorite was the Thanksgiving banana cream ice cream pie! We just enjoyed ice cream for breakfast yesterday and got lost of their new food options. The burgers are a really good size. I loved the western browner on Texas toast!
