Tivoli Green Apartments & Townhomes — Local services in Mount Pleasant

We moved into Tivoli almost a year ago, and it has been hands down the most amazing apartment I have ever lived in. We absolutely love it here and have not one negative thing to say about Tivoli. The unit itself is modern, spacious, and comfortable. When I first viewed it, I knew I wanted to live here. I have lived in two different apartments before Tivoli, and they don’t even come close to this place in quality. I have never felt more at peace and comfortable before. In apartments, you always have to remember you are living around other people/in the same building. Tivoli is the closest thing to a house in my opinion. The walls are basically soundproof. I have never heard my neighbors inside my unit, or commotion that may be going on outside. It is so quiet and peaceful which is what I was looking for when I moved in. My last apartment the walls were so thin, with all the noises from neighbors, I had really bad anxiety, which is why I was looking for a new place to begin with. Tivoli gave me my peace of mind back by basically having soundproof units. The neighborhood is safe and has wonderful access to main roads and the freeway. My dog absolutely loves it here. Taking her on walks here is peaceful and there is so many routes you can take on your walk while still remaining in the complex. The dog park is HUGE, and has a water fountain available for the pups. They also have so many doggie bag stations around for convenience. The unit itself is an open concept, so spacious and I am obsessed with the island in the kitchen. Having an in unit washer and dryer has been a life changer for me as I have never had an apartment before that has that. It has made my life so much easier, and they are new models that work efficiently. All the appliances are stainless steel and there are many cabinets for storage in the kitchen. I love that the uppers have stairs going up to your unit from your own private door/entry. Really adds to the modern vibe. As I mentioned, having a private door/entry makes this place feel even less like an apartment which I love so much. No hallways connecting you to other units! Everything in the unit itself is good quality, you can tell they took their time building and made these units with good quality materials. Lastly, the office staff and maintenance are great and very responsive. The professionalism and they way they do things makes everything so smooth. From move in to now, they have been wonderful. Christina in the office is absolutely amazing, always willing to help with a smile on her face, and is a sweetheart. They have fire pits, a pool and gas grills available for all their tenants to use freely. I just can’t express how much I love this place and will be signing a new lease again once mine is up. For the price, Tivoli offers everything and more and is well worth every penny. My boyfriend, dog and I absolutely love it here and could not ask for more! Lived here for about 2 years but moved out recently. A very diverse community and homes young adults, foreigners, elderly and families. Great to see communities that can bring in all of these social groups. The reason for my rating is sadly due to the infestation of bugs/insects at this apartment. I’ve never had issues with bugs all my life until this place. Ants/spiders every now and then, but this place was infested with some isopod looking insects. Everyday I saw a new one, and they died extremely fast so you’ll find dead ones all around your unit. Had pest control come, both from the “maintenance” and from orkin. The problem still exist. I ended up getting fed up and left to a newer townhome across the town and have not had any issues since.

Edit: forgot to mention. Some idiot designed the units to all have the same number but differentiated by only the building number. Had my mail delivered to the wrong unit over...

It’s been years since we last rented, but after selling our home up north and moving back to Racine, we needed some time to decide when and where to buy or build our new home. I never imagined these townhomes would be built as well as any house I’ve ever owned. The walls are well insulated and sounds from the hallway or a neighboring bedroom are muted, creating a private and quiet atmosphere. Though there is a dog park, which we use a lot, I enjoy walking our two dogs at night in the Tivoli community, which features well-lit sidewalks with waste stations for pet owners everywhere. The area is meticulously landscaped and offers a peaceful environment filled with good, hardworking people. There is a genuine sense of community here, and we love it!
