Really put a damper on our Christmas tree experience. We arrived, waited at the entrance for somebody (I think everybody was off helping other customers), so we grabbed a saw and wagon and followed a well worn path to find a tree. Found one we liked and brought it back to pay, when we got harshly and very rudely yelled at by the owner. We apparently "ruined it for everybody" and "didn't check in" and are "ruining business by cutting down trees we aren't supposed to." No areas were marked off as no-go areas, no trees were marked off as no-cut, no signs told us to check in or to only cut certain trees, and no one was there to tell us otherwise. We felt incredibly bad but how were we supposed to know to do otherwise?! If the owners don't want this to happen then they should make it clear to people which trees they're allowed to cut at u-cut tree farm or make signs to check in with someone or do something! Instead they screamed and yelled at customers who didn't follow the rules - rules they were never given. We had a very upsetting experience and will not...
Read moreAfter having our family photos taken here, I would highly recommend against photographers working with the owner of this farm. After initially checking in with our photographer and coming to an understanding of his expectations, he proceeded to come back and accuse her of not checking in and condescendingly berated her, telling her if she ever wanted to be a real photographer that she needs to learn to check in. She apologized and insisted that it was a misunderstanding as they had already checked in. His response was the misunderstanding was not on his part. He then lied and told her that they only accept cash, contradicting the information on their own website. Before this interaction we were considering getting our tree here this year, but after seeing how the owner treats people, we won't be back for pictures or trees, and we will recommend the same to...
Read moreGood business, beautiful trees, and candy canes for the kids. Be sure to wear waterproof boots, it will be muddy and wet. I also brought my jacket to lay down on while we sawed at the tree. A little pricey and no discounts on smaller trees, but great for bigger trees and everyone was very nice. They will netted our tree for an extra $5, but you must tie it to your own roof which wasn't a problem. Be sure to bring your own rope too. The prices on my picture are from 2020. They prefer cash or check, $3 fee...
