I had the best experience here. Just starting a new hobby, always wanted to learn...first time to the shop I was just there to find out about the sport, what did I need to know to get started, etc. I was truly amazed at how much care was given to me. Buck & Jason had me try out some equipment, adjusting as needed & I was blown away by their knowledge, experience and willingness to make sure I was comfortable. Such wonderful customer service seems to be a rarity these days.

The bow he recommended was out of stock but coming soon. In the meantime my hubs was checking out deals online but I really wanted a 'home shop' that I felt would take care of me & I could support. So we waited for the shipment.

When I went to get my set up, Buck & Jason made sure I was properly set. I felt so comfortable. These guys know their sport & are so willing to share. I felt I'd found 'my home shop' & don't care to go anywhere else. I've been shooting at home & am so pleased with my bow build. If you're considering getting into archery, this is the place for you. I was taught not only why the selected bow was good for me but also how to shoot & I feel confident using it. I have a great deal to learn but I've a great start because of Riverside. I got the Mission Hammr & the set up package, I feel that this bow will grow with me for years to come. I'll probably switch out some components in the long run but I have great equipment to start my new journey. Went here with my wife to get a couple bows and gear, and we'd both never shot compound before going in. We both had a good idea what bows we wanted, and called ahead of time to see if they were in, and when we actually went in they had them..unlike some places that say they do and don't and try to sell you up. We went in there looking to buy more gear than we walked out with, and the guys said why buy something now that you'll use and abuse way before hunting season. Come back in later to get it after you're comfortable. They also didn't let us walk out with making sure we were sighted properly and had decent form. The next day we went down to a range and we were shooting tight groupings around the bullseye no problem.

Bottom line: smart guys, no pushy sales bull$#&@, and we're glad we made the drive and...

Maybe I was there on an off day but the staff was not overly friendly, acted as if I was kind of a nuisance since I was only after a kids arrow. What they didn't know was I started with that and was actually after a new compound bow. After the meh attitude I left and bought a bow elsewhere about an hour later. Prices (on things that actually had price tags) seemed high and things without price tags (most things I looked at) made me wonder why they were not priced.
