Food Country USA — Local services in Mountain City

Most of the employees are very nice and helpful. It is very helpful when they can simply tell me exactly where what I'm looking for is,which they usually can. The prices and inventory, however, are questionable.It is ridiculously expensive compared to other local options, and half of the time, what I'm in there looking for isn't even in stock. There's always emptyplaces on the shelves, so I'm always missing something and having to find it elsewhere. I love their baked goods, and they always have tons of 2-for deals.

Most of the customers were wearing masks, which was refreshing and made my shopping experience feel like a safe one.

However, most of the employees were not wearing a mask, and the couple who were only had them covering their noses. This is not okay.

It's sad when a business feels so threatened that it pays money to make signs against the competition in town. I don't remember Food Lion or Food Country going at each other but they've both posted disparaging signs inside the stores about Price Less.
