Replying to Anna Church I’d like to reply to what you said about your experience at Locals Deli. First of all, you came at one of our busiest times and were told that we had 8 orders ahead of yours and that we had just ran out of Roast Beef and were in the process of slicing more. Hence the explanation for the slight delay. Second, I made your quesadilla and know for a fact that there was more than one slice of roast beef on it. We use the industry standards for weight when we slice our portions. Had you brought your quesadilla back before you ate half of it and asked for more we would’ve gladly gave you more. Local’s Deli is a wonderful eatery to visit, relax in, enjoy great food, watch a football game, enjoy local entertainment, be educated by the many nostalgic items displayed while visiting with other patrons. Tim Payne, the owner, continues expanding his new business to include hot and cold sandwiches, best soups ever, gourmet coffees and flavorings, great muffins, pumpkin rolls, scones and other treats. Want old-fashion candy? Local’s has it! Tim personally welcomes each guest and encourages them to enjoy the history displayed throughout his historic building as they enjoy their awesome food order. Had lunch here today. Nice place good usage of an old building the people running it are extremely friendly. Service was fast the place has a cozy welcoming feel. And something that I really like that they're doing is offering entertainment like live music and karaoke something mountain City desperately needs something to do that's fun.
