If your car is going to break down the best place for it to happen is in Mullan Idaho!!! The folks at Mullan Trail gas station are this most hospitable people we were blessed to meet. The whole little town treated us very well. Ron and Charles, 2 local mechanics, did everything they could to get us back on the road while still working their other jobs!! The little cabin they rented us for the week was super cute and the gas station food was excellent!!! My wife, 3 dogs and cat are very thankful to break down in such a hospitable little town. My grandmother used to live in Mullan and when she passed we buried her in the cemetery there and had a reception at Shoshone Park. Problem was all the food for the reception needed a cooler until it was time. This gas station allowed us to use their cooler for a few hours really helping us out.
