Abbi May's Fabric Shop — Local services in Muskegon Charter Township

I made a king size bedspread that goes floor to floor. Therefore it is very wide and long. This is my first experience making something this big and my first time(s) visiting Abbi May's. The staff at Abbi May's were wonderful each time I came in. I came in to ask "how" I needed to sew the strips of fabric so the bedspread could be quilted, then I came in to get the 118" fabric backing and the next time was to ask about options like binding etc. The staff ALWAYS explained everything and are very friendly and knowledgeable. I loved being able to customize my bedspread and sew matching valances. I knew it may be a little costly, yet I feel it was reasonable according to the king size bedspread. The quilting quality is excellent and the binding is perfect! To me, it is well worth it to have a beautiful bedspread that really makes our bedroom look classy. While in Muskegon for the day, I looked to finds quilt shop. Abbi Mays came up and I drove over to take a look. What a lovely shop and the two gals working there were a delight. The building is wonderful with lots of samples for inspiration. I felt very welcomed and left with a fair amount of goodies.
