DG Market — Local services in Muskegon Charter Township

New The manager Kyle is bad news! While shopping I hear nothing but this guy gossiping!! I shop there often. Which maybe I shouldn't anymore! He gossips about his employees and the customers and you can hear him do this throughout the store. He throws fits and throws things when he's mad at his employees and at customers. He cusses and yells frequently throughout the store. He's always talking bad and making fun of people. He often is confused about his own rules and policies and how to do simple tasks his other employees know how to do or have to explain to him. I've had several questions while shopping and asked him and on top of his lack of enthusiasm of wanting to help me and his attitude toward me, he had to find someone else to answer my question. So, you have a manager who treats people like trash, a temper, a vulgar mouth and attitude, a total disrespect toward his employees and customers, putting people's safety in jeopardy and he gossips like a 13 year old girl, and this is the person you have running your store? Good job Dollar General upper Management, come on corporate, you need to keep an eye on your managers better because you obviously didn't screen him well in the beginning!

Not to mention, he hires these kids that skate around the store on actual skates, I'm pretty sure that's a safety hazard!

Most to all of the ladies who work the register are rude and nasty and never come when you ring the bell for service. Customer service went out the window with there manager! I see who they get it from.

The store is always cluttered with boxes and mess, just went down hill I would say over the past 6 months or so, used to always be so clean and organized. The shelves are a mess.

The parking lot looks horrible as well. Seems like they must of had some good workers maybe 6 or more months ago and now they have crappy ones not doing there job or something. Cause the store and service is paying for it!

Where's this managers boss? Doesn't someone check on this guy? Or the store? Why is this happening? Being allowed to happen?

Shame on you DG Market! Think about your customers, we live in North Muskegon...

Gossip...dirty....bad customer service....cussing.....no organization...bad attitudes...always out of merchandise...expired food on shelves....smelly & rotten meat put out...brown & black produce & deli meats, ice in frozen foods, expired milk and juice put out, bad management, no knowledge of products or services, dirty parking lot, carts everywhere, long lines, don't seem to have team spirit and want to help each other, no customer rapport, no going above and beyond, no helping of customers, no simple "hello" or "goodbye" when entering or leaving. Dirty bathrooms. Stains on floors. Let's dirty customers bring any kinds of animals in stores, even flee infested dogs like pitbulls, which is dangerous to the public. Leaves messes on floors, like liquid with no wet floor signs, which is also dangerous. Manager lets his wife shop in the back of the store where customers are not allowed to get promotions and deals before he puts them out for the actual customers. She takes all the good stuff before we have a chance to look through it. Allows his employees to vape in the office and break room, we can see it when the door opens. Let's the guy worker wear skates on his shoes and lets him skate around...

I figured they would take cash most self check outs do after waiting in check outline I noticed that line didn't take cash so I asked one of the 2 workers if they had a line I could use cash at with a rude tone I was told no we don't take cash extremely rudely then as I walked out the front door willing to just go to a different store one employee yelled rudely "the sings on the door" again witch says self check out only nothing to extent of card sales only or no cash sales so managers reading this im sorry your staff has zero respect for consumers but I will not be shopping at any dollar general...
