Called to book a last minute small birthday party for my daughter. The young lady that answered the phone got us in for 130pm Saturday. Asked what the kiddos would like to eat either the pizza or hot dog. Majority of the kiddos would want pizza. One kiddo is strictly GF..I asked the young lady what the alternatives are for this kiddo. Any exceptions to the "ABSOLUTELY NO OUTSIDE FOOD OR BEVERAGES ALLOWED " rule. She wasn't sure, I was transferred to a Shelley, Sherri someone that worked the kitchen. I was told this kiddo would have the hot dog. Well, this kid is a growing 12yr athlete a plain hot dog will not cut it and maybe she doesn't like hot dogs?? What confuses me is that I can bring in a cake from outside but there is no exception to this strict GF diet this kiddo has!! I was then told that they were accommodating me by allowing me to book this party last minute; the website states 7 days in advance. After the rudeness from this lady from the kitchen staff whom says she runs the party planning I asked to speak to whomever is over the bowling alley. She informed me that she would have a conversation with them tomorrow and have them give me a call. Absolutely not. Having some free time and about 40mins after having this phone conversation I decided to go to bowling alley to speak with someone directly. That was when I met this rude, unprofessional, cocky middle aged man and I have never been so disgusted. He stood back "listened" to what I had to say. Swallowed my pride asked him how can we move forward from this as I will be spending $300+ with other family members joining drinks and their food. Ultimately he said "well the party needs to be booked 7 days in advance and my Saturday is filled." UMmM the young lady I spoke with 40mins ago booked us with no problem -up until we got to the food options. "We have a lot of new employees" No, sir I see what you are doing here. Let me get this straight I questioned about what the GF options are on the menu, all that was available is a hot dog. The child should not have to "deal with it" as the only option. I am allowed to bring a cake in, what's the difference if I bring a GF option meal for this child? The business needs to do better period. I would hate for one of their children or family members find themselves in this situation. Do not tell me it is a health department issue. If that is the case I should not be able to bring a cake in from outside. And why is it that another bowling alley will allow me to order pizza from outside and have it delivered right to the table I am sitting at???? How this male treated me/the situation I will never step foot in that establishment ever again! He didn't care about the amount of money I was going to spend "it makes no difference to me" Ok. NOTED Moral of the story here: if you are a parent wanting to book a party with this establishment make sure there are no food allergies amongst the children. If so, make sure they are fine with just a plain hot dog. Or after doing some research a business cannot, not allow you to bring food in for someone that is on special diet due to allergies. Especially if there are no options ((one option doesn't count)) Best of luck...

The lanes were okay, the reason for the two star is the astronomical prices on food for me and my three kids to eat a regular meal each was $75 and I'm sorry but the food is not that good all of the fries tasted like they've been sitting in the warmer for hours the chili dogs tasted about the same I could have fed my kids at McDonald's for a third of the price and Will from now on as I will never pay the prices of their food at Northway Lanes again and they could really Grease the lanes better not to mention we were kicked out at 6:45 and didn't get to finish our game due to leagues on a Saturday and didn't get a refund as we didn't even get to finish five of the 10 frames this place is going downhill compared to what we grew up with Northway Lanes being and this just happened last weekend truly disappointed and the food and the service could use...

I ordered fries and mozzarella sticks and, after waiting a considerable amount of time, went to go grab my food. She asked me something but I couldnt hear her (it was loud), so I asked her to repeat herself. She loudly snapped back at me to show her my receipt. I told her I wasn't given one and gave her my lane number. She said I needed a receipt and wouldnt give me my food. I asked her what I was supposed to do and she then proceeded to start yelling at the cashier who took my order, chewing him out for not giving me a receipt. She then asked what food I had and shoved it at me. I understand that the food service industry can be very stressing (I work retail myself), but she had no right to take that stress out on me or the cashier, who had a simple, honest mistake. Don't think I'll be going back, I'd rather go across town to Sherman where I'm treated...
