Okay Eddie, i came here as a kid and returned during my Muskogee visit to bring my 8 year old cousin to skate. We had a load of dissapointing experiences for the hour that we were there. To start i need to ask, why the bumper cars? You cut off a whole section of the skate floor for an area that was used one time while we were there. Then we got hungry, we ordered cheese sticks and while the lady at the counter was friendly, after i went back up to see where our food was after 15 minutes of waiting, she simply pulled the sticks out of a wrapper, put then in the cooker and told me they would ve ready shortly. THEY HADENT EVEN STARTED ON THEM! To add on, the cheese stick were small and didn't taste very good, not a great value for nearly 5 dollars. Even that could have been forgiven if not for the last 10 minutes of our time there, you play music videos that are explicit and are unsuitable to be seen by children at times, thats one thing. But you played a song that had A 9 MINUTE INTRODUCTION before the song. So the final 10 minutes of our experience was boring and a pure dissapointment. Ill be honest Eddie, this plays really sucks now. The fact that an 8 year old who doesn't get to do these things nearly ever, was complaining about her time is a very big red flag. I also went to the bowling ally with less than steller results as well. To keep it simple, every cent i spent on skating, was a total waste, and might as well been thrown into...
Read moreI had a great time with my 3 year old, breaking in her new skates. Half the arcade equipment was broken, and the rink floor needs a good refinish. The ladies' bathroom reeked of old urine. The skates looked really rundown, but they were comfortable. The music was perfect with no cursing (Vanilla Ice, Apple Bottom Jeans, Black Eye Peas, and Gangnum Style are a few that I remember). Their website is non-existent. I think they have an opportunity to be phenomenal with a crisp website, membership discounts, new arcade games that accept credit cards, and removing the broken games that add clutter.
So why 5 stars? Because I'm grateful to have a skating rink in Muskogee. I've only lived here a year, and there are not a lot of activities for little kids (it's getting better, though). The atmosphere was amazing, and my daughter and I made wonderful memories of her first time in a...
Read moreThe skate floor is really nice, & a lot of fun to skate around on no matter what age you are. Two-thirds of their arcade games are in working order (RIP pinball machine). It would be nice to have a bit more room to play air hockey (without kids stepping on the plug-in/extension cord) & shoot a game of pool (without worrying about little kids walking behind you when you got to take a shot). But with barely enough room in the parking lot for a full-sized vehicle to get in & back out of a parking space (maybe if people would actually pull all the way into the parking spaces/front bumper nearly touching the concrete bumper), they really don't have the option to expand their building for...
