Way to picky when it comes to any sort of body work. They will not accept anything that isn't professionally done. They do good work for everything else but don't take your car there for inspection unless you want to get rakes over the coals on pricing. $75 for inspection and emissions and they won't pass anything but a new car fresh off the lot. Edit: since I was responded to I would like to say that there was no spray foam used at all. There was Bondo as well as 2 pieces of 12 gauge mild steel sandwiched on either side of the pond weld. The vehicle was jacked all the way up by that pinch weld without issue. Also might I add that it doesn't have to support 3500lbs as you claim as the vehicle 1st of all has the majority of the weight in the front as it's FWD with the engine in the front and 2nd is physically impossible to balance all the weight on that single point because the center of gravity would have to be directly above it meaning the vehicle would need to be balanced almost on the rear bumper and if that's the case then a pinch weld is the least of your concers. It would need to support at most 1/3 of that weight which is roughly 1,200lbs when rounding up. Maybe if you payed attention in school instead of eating crayons you'd have a basic understanding of math and physics. Just because something doesn't look pretty doesn't mean it's not structurally sound. Also to add I was told my other vehicle needed an idler arm to pass inspection. Did the other work required but didn't touch the idler arm and when it was brought back nothing about it was mentioned and it passed inspection. You just like to pick and choose when to follow state standard and when you just won't pass something because it's not pretty. Almost any other shop would pass it and I will edit with the name of the shop that passes it will be. Been taking cars here for about 2 years now but it is time to find a new shop. Very unprofessional and far too picky on rust for a shop that's located in NEPA. Was told a frame drain hole that had expanded .5mm needed to be fixed in addition to the pinch weld which made me chuckle when I saw the picture of that "rot hole" plus the shocks that were done last year on this car needed to be redone because they were never seated properly and the brake caliper slide pins needed to be replaced because they bent them when installing the caliper. Take your vehicle somewhere else because this shop has gone...
Read moreI took my car to get an oil change and the mechanics there gave me a list of what was wrong because they noticed that I was due for inspection. I absolutely loved that because normally I would have to ask for that and then be told everything including the price. This was even better than that because they printed out what needed to be done listing each item with the price and then listing the total price. I didn't have the money for it at the time so they told me about how I could pay a little bit and then have the rest financed. When I had issues with getting the financing they even helped me with that. I am not knocking any of the other garages around but my experience with On The Go Garage was different as described above. I would recommend them to anyone because for me they seemed to go a little above what other garages I have gone to do for customers. Definitely a very...
Read moreTold them what was wrong with the car. Had an appointment. Car was there for 2 days and all they did were the brakes. Was supposed to get an estimate for the rest never did. Left it there an extra day and told them to fix the power steering. Never did. Picked up the car after 2 days and all that was done were the brakes and a $380 bill. Never told me it needed rotors. Still didn't get the estimate and don't want it. Stay away if you're smart. Wish I could...
