Sanitary Bakery — Restaurant in Nanticoke

Absolute best remaining bakery. And was the best while the others were still operational. All pastries etc are excellent but not enough could be said for their delicious pizza no skimping on the sauce which is sweet and delicious. I wish I were closer to nanticoke I'd buy at least a tray a week. Just tried a Dalo's pizza from Berwick, and it was like eating stale bread with hardly any sauce. More sauce would have not only given the pizza more flavor but also would have kept the bread from tasting dry and stale. No comparison with Sanitary Bakery; none whatsoever. I did email them to explain that more sauce would make their Pizza much more flavorful and less dry but the Love of money will probably prevent that from ever happening. Too bad for Dalos. There pizza is really good. I used to love their cupcakes but the last time I got them they weren't very good. They had small black hard pieces throughout the cupcake and icing. And the staff Is not friendly. I love small businesses. I love the politeness and small conversations. But when you greet them with a smile you get nothing back..no smile...no small back and forth..It makes me feel like I'm bothering them. They all seem annoyed to be there. And when I say small, you have to squish against a wall by the door and other people to wait in sometimes a very long line. It's very uncomfortable. Not sure if it's the management or the employees, but the service is no longer what I consider acceptable. Orders have been messed up, not taking customers in the order they come in, overcharging and a disrespectful attitude have left me with a bad impression. I have decided this it's no longer a business that I will patronize or recommend. Feel free to make your own decision but don't be surprised if you don't get the service you'd expect here anymore.
